When I arrived I was told I was seeing someone other then what I was told on the phone. The gal cutting my hair did not introduce herself in the entire appointment. she took me back to the shampoo bowl right away. I thought this was strange because she did not even look at the way my dry hair laid or even ask me what I wanted. During shampoo she didn’t say one word. When I sat down in the chair after shampoo she did ask me how much I wanted off. As she started cutting I could see this was an upgraded Greatclips or Supercuts. she did the speed hair cutting. (not a fan) She barely spoke during haircut. When she was done she did not even walk me to the front desk, or give me a card. Clearly her and the business are doing so good that they dont need to give good customer service and dont want to retain customers. The haircut was not terrible but not great either. Probly will not go back not because haircut was bad or the stylist was mean, but because the customer service is terrible and the stylist was not engaging at all.

Had a bad experience with my balayage! Never again! They ruined my hair. I have a brunette auburn color hair and I just wanted some caramel colored balayage which turned out as a total opposite! I even showed them the picture of what I wanted and to my surprise, my balayage turned out as an brassy orange streaked over bleached blonde ombré! Not even close to what I asked them. I was really trying my best to see if that will work but after a week I really can’t stand looking at myself in the mirror and always tying my hair. So I went back days after to have them fix my hair, Candice did a good job toning it down but after my 2^nd time to wash my hair at home, it went back to the brassy cheap color. I’m Really disappointed. I paid good money to have them make a perfect salon paid coloring but turned out to like a DIY Home hair disaster. It doesn’t even look like a salon made it because they damaged and over bleached my healthy brunette hair. I even bought sulfate free shampoo to have it toned down but it didn’t help at all. I’m never coming back, they were all nice but I don’t think the person that they asked to do the balayage knows what she’s doing. Now I have to cash out again and go to a reputable salon to have them fix the damage that was done to my hair. My hair means a lot to me, I’ve always took care of them and I exactly told Deana that its my first try to have something like this to be done to my hair and now I’m traumatized. Staff were okay but I can’t go back to them again and have them do another damage to my hair. I like the staff but the color services, you might want to ask them who’s knowledgeable and right person to do hair color services. Just my two cents.

All the girls here do amazing work. It is such a fun environment and you instantly feel comfortable. Michelle is my stylist and love coming to see her. She is great with my curly hair and crazy requests!

Looking for a new color or cut… The place to go.

Awesome friendly staff. Was able to get two last minute appointments same day. Made my kids feel comfortable and did and a great job cutting their hair. Even did my little daughters hair (brushed it) to make her fit in too :)

Love this place. Got my hair cut here twice and both times left me absolutely elated. They listened to everything I said, looked at all my ideas, and helped me come up with an actual solid plan of attack. They were all super friendly and very helpful. Plus the price is hard to beat.

Walked in for a haircut & Michelle put me at ease while under her care as I tend to always be nervous about a cut. The moment I walked in she made me feel attended & cared for. Next time I’m definitely going in for color. Lovely salon in surprise.

I showed up 10 minutes before they were about to close on a Sunday (I know I’m the worst). Michelle was so sweet and didn’t mind at all. I came in just for a trim but she didn’t rush at all and took her time to make sure my hair looked good. I asked for a shampoo and she really took her time the massage was fantastic. She trimmed up my hair and showed me how to use a diffuser. Absolutely fantastic service. I will be coming back!!!

Amazing! Easy to get into, they seem so willing to work with your schedule. I live in north Phoenix, and drive 45minutes to come here because they are that good! Its rare to find a stylist who actually listens to you! I got exactly what I wanted, and completely trust Michelle with my hair. It’s super cute inside and very friendly.

They did an amazing job on my eyebrow wax! The workers are really sweet & friendly people. They have really great prices and make you feel welcomed. Also, the salon is decorated extremely cute and modern! Loved my experience here :)

Candice is great! I went in for a full high lights trying to go lighter and she did it. She took her time. Note I have a lot of hair and my hair is also very long if your looking for a salon this is the place. Thank you again Candice

I live in the area and after passing by a few times, I decided to try it out. I’m really glad I did. Michelle was super nice and did a fantastic job on my hair. As a self-​proclaimed salon whore (I rarely go to the same place twice) I think I might be reformed. Pin Curlz will definitely be seeing me again.

Went here for the first time today. Great service! Love my new cut and color and look forward to going back. Michelle did a wonderful job and I look forward to working with her more.

I usually come here for my haircuts. Because I like the workers and the environment of the place. Got my ombré colored back to my natural hair color (for wedding pictures). Or I thought that’s what I paid for. The lady told me over the phone that it would be a «fill». And it would be about $ 35-​$ 60. When she was done with my hair she charged me for a all over color. $ 85. I just paid for it and when I got home my hair where the ombré used to be, was red! And the other parts black. My natural hair color was brown. Not black. I went back and she re colored the red parts and I told her the top and bottom didn’t match. She said she would fix it. I left and the top was still brown… I didn’t bother going back it seems like a waste of time and money… I’m sad cause I really liked this place and wanted to give it a chance. Waste of $ 100. Full color plus tip.

I just moved to Surprise, AZ from Anchorage, AK and after tons of research and lots of positive feedback, I decided to come into Pin Curlz Parlor. I am SO Thankful I did, I am so happy!
Candice did my hair… She’s Amazing! I am a forever client of hers now. She did a cut and some major highlights on my over due dark roots! ;). I absolutely love my hair! Candice was so friendly, fun to chat with, and really seemed to enjoy her job, she had nothing but sweet things to say about her coworkers and spoke so highly about the salon! That speaks volumes about a place, especially when your already so good at what you do. Thank you so much!

Jessica has been cutting my hair for years. She does a great job on my hair! She is not the typical stylist who just jabbers on and on. She is pleasant to speak with and she keeps it «real».
I highly recommend Jessica for boys and men’s haircuts! She takes appointments!

I hadn’t been to a salon for over 40 years because I have naturally curly hair and everywhere I tried would cut my hair the length they thought right, but when it dried my hair would be WAY too short! So all these years I’ve cut my own hair. I decided to try Michelle after reading the reviews, because I needed a cut and a color, and I thought the prices looked pretty reasonable. I stopped in one morning to make an appointment, was able to get in that afternoon, and by the time I left felt VERY well taken care of. Michelle listened to me, did as I asked, colored my hair beautifully, and couldn’t have been more accommodating! It’s a fun place to go, with a cute décor and what seems like a great relationship between Michelle, the owner, Jessica, and Candace! Since my visit my daughter went to Michelle, my husband went to Candace and my granddaughter went to Jessica. .. we’re all just SO happy. .. ! Pin Curlz Parlor is a WIN WIN for Surprise!

I got my daughters hair trimmed and styled and it didn’t break the bank. Michelle was friendly and knowledgable with everything we asked for. Highly recommend going here. Great atmosphere and cool décor.
