My full name is Brian Irish Doherty, but I prefer to be called by my middle name. I am an Arizona native and entrepreneur with ambitious goals for my company. I have continued to expand my knowledge on all pest control categories so that I could provide complete pest services with the personal feel of a local and family-​owned business. We had Irish out for the German cockroaches, who decided to set up shop in our kitchen. Our technician, Tanner, was great! He went over all options for inside and outside of our home. Explained how the critters travel and breed (ick!!)… Very professional, but also very friendly. Definitely recommend them for any pest control you may need. They guarantee their work, too. Our unwelcome visitors should be gone in the very near future. We hope we don’t need them again, but if any new critters show up, Irish will be our first call.

Tanner is to me the most helpful person. I love his work! He is very knowledgeable about the product he is spraying with. One day he even came to my house on his day off to resuce my dogs from the ant army that developed out of no where Sonia as well. He is all well mannered and effecient! I would recommend Tanner to all my friends and family!

We have been using Irish & their organic product for almost 8 years. They are friendly & helpful. The organic product works great to control the crickets, roaches & ants but doesn’t seem to harm the lizards. We recently had them treat for termites. Their prices are very competitive.

Tanner was the tech and he was great. He gave options on chemicals or organic and explained the pros and cons of each. He then asked me to tag along while he sprayed so he could explain what he was looking for. Great experience. Will use this company to do a quarterly treatment from now on.

We were unhappy with our current pest control provider so I called for a quote. They were friendly, upfront about their prices, procedures and products and fit me in the very next day! Wow! The young man that came did a great job and reminded us that we can call for them to come back whenever we need to! Wish I had called Irish first!!! Great company!

My husband and I have used Irish pest and weed on a quarterly schedule for the last two years for exterior pest control. They have made two large mistakes in my opinion.
1st error — A technician sprayed pesticide all over our vines in the direct sun. It completly burned the vines and it took about a year for my vines to recover. After this event we asked the company to never spray the plants and to put this in there records.
2nd error — During our last service the technician sprayed pecticide over the entire backyard, Plants included. Now, all of my edible plants are coated and inedible to me. I have four small citrus trees, rosemary, thyme, mint, and other fruit trees in our yard. By the time I noticed what was happening it was too late. The next day I left a voice message to explain what had occured and to cancel our quarterly service due to my disappointment. I never heard back from Irish Pest and Weed. I expected at least a phone call with an apology or some sort of acknowledgment of wrong doing. I guess we are just one less client to them, so why bother to apologize is what they must believe.

I just had to add to my first review. I recently had a pretty bad experience with another pest control service and remembered that when Irish came to do our weed treatment that he also did pest control. I called to set up the pest service. Wow, their customer service is outstanding! I had had an appointment set up with the other company to come treat today, but they cancelled due to weather. Irish offered to have someone out this afternoon to do my first treatment. No contracts to sign, no monthly billing, and their work is completely guaranteed. Anyone in need of pest or weed control should give Irish a call. You will not be let down!

Irish does what he say’s he’s going to do and does it when he say’s he will. He treated our home for termites and gave us a 10 year transferable warranty (should we sell) He started just before 4 pm and stayed until 8 o’clock that night. That was at our request as we were leaving for a period and wanted the treatment right away. The termites are gone. Done deal. He also sprayed the property for pests as my wife could hear crickets. They too are gone. Best deal going for the $$. Very affordable. There is no pressure with Irish, if you don’t want a contract, no problem call him when you need him, which is what we do. Couple times a year for the bugs. Very refreshing to do business with a real businessman.

Irish completely sprayed the outside areas of our home with organic products using essential oils and sprinkled some type of product on the inside windows. Additionally, he treated the utility access plates and walls. He quickly responded to our request, even though it was last minute. Explained regular treatments vs organic and length effectiveness for each. He was very quick, polite and efficient. I emailed him on Thursday night and had a response by 7 AM on Friday and service was provided on Saturday. We will be using his services quarterly and will schedule termite treatment later this year.

Difficult to even leave one star. I have given this company the benefit of the doubt for over two years. I have to track him down to make an appointment and he never shows up on time. Three-​month weed control lasts about six weeks at best.

After calling several companies to get quotes for an pest/​termite problem I finally called Irish because of the reviews I saw on Unilocal.I scheduled my appointment because of the great rates. They came out and I must say I was impressed with their services. Irish was not only nice but he was very knowledgable and did a great job as well. There is no doubt that we will continue to receive services from them.

We first noticed a problem with ants a little over a week ago. They were coming in through some cracks around our front door frame. After calking them up, we didn’t have a problem until today, when I noticed they found a new way in — our master bathroom. After calling numerous companies (all too expensive or not open on Sunday), we were able to schedule an appointment with Irish. My fiancé called him around 4:30pm, and we heard back from him within a half an hour. He told us he would be able to come out later in the evening — around 8−9pm. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and charged a more than fair price (he even pointed out a discount for his company that was in the Entertainment Book we had sitting on our counter). He sprayed the interior and exterior and gave us a 3-​month guarantee on his service. I would recommend him to anyone!

I called this company because I was having a huge bee problem. Not only did he quote me a reasonable rate, he came out the same day. He is very professional and knowledgeable in what he does. Took care of my bee problem in less than an hour. Would definately use them again. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for reasonable but excellent service.

Irish himself came out to my residence and conducted both weed and pest control. I have had 3 other companies come out and service my residence over the past 3 years, and Irish did the most thorough job, hands down. He was very respectful of our organic garden and fruit trees and did not spray them with chemicals like one of the previous pest/​weed control services did. He spent more time at my place making sure that everything was covered than 2 of the previous services did combined. The two major selling points for me were the fact that he offers organic treatments and he doesn’t make you commit to any contract. I will definitely use his service again and I would highly recommend him to anyone who even wants to «test out» a pest or weed control service.
