Called looking for a yarn, they looked for it and didn’t have it – fine. When I said«thank you for looking anyway,» the representative said«you’re welcome, honey,» in a very sticky, patronizing voice. I’m 35 years old. Not 16. I’m not sure how people think this is an appropriate term for adult women.

I only use Michaels for framing. Always a decent sale. Marie is knowledgeable and very helpful.

Please print out, load on smartphone, or bring from mail a 50% off coupon. You wont regret it! Michaels has a good supply of speedball screenprinting supplies — what I usually use my coupon for to build up my set. They have small selections of almost every craft and even have a kids section with the melty beads that I’m addicted to. This location is open, comfortable, and the products are easy to find. The checkout has lots of room to keep those already done out of the way so you can speedily run in to grab your products. The staff are friendly and quick to get you out and on your way.

Was here with Hubs one of the weekends. Pretty OK Store that has the craft supplies both Hubs and I needed. I like this Michaels, ONLY if they have discounted stuffs. Definitely a return when needed. I SO Wish they could stock more stuffs though. Oh well.

I really need to stop watching TLC and HGTV. They give me all these artsy ideas that rarely turn out the way I plan, and inevitably lead me to a Michael’s. For me, the first thing that comes to mind when I think of Michael’s is: «where the heck are the employees?!» You can never find one. You can stand at check-out for 10 minutes and still no one will appear. Seriously, Michael’s needs to rattle some managerial chains and get their employees customer services oriented. The other thing about Michael’s is that it gives me the heebie-jeebies, so much in the store reminds me of the cutesy, crafty crap I see when I go back to Indiana and visit Amish Country. Only really old people can get away with making and owning anything made with calico, wood bobbins, or dried flowers. Puffy paints bring back memories of an awkward childhood, so these should also be banned.

Took the wrong exit on my way to Flat Irons and ended up in front of Michaels which was perfect since I was looking for some decent yarn. I ended up picking up a plethora of house décor for a buck each since they were having a 90% off sale. Sic! Also picked up adorable pink and red heart shaped cookie cutters for mini Valenitne’s Day gifts. Very cute.
