I don’t recommend Bailey for these reasons:
1. Concerns on this dentist’s competence,
2. The way their office manager treated me, and
3. Unethical billing practice.
To be fair, I liked most other staff in the office: the nurses and especially hygienist Paulette. My problems are with the dentist and the office manager Stacie.
This dentist had to do 3 times for one filling on my tooth due to recurring pain during a few months. Each time I had to be numbed, the existing filling removed, and retried another one, until the 3^rd time I was told it would be the «kitchen sink» which eventually held. I was just about to quit! Each time he’d come up with some explanation and I wondered how come he didn’t think of it and do it correctly the first time!
Just like Christine Y. commented on Unilocal,I found the office manager Stacie was rude! I also want to add that I found her eager to fight for some reason. I feel that she’s a liability to the business.
I recall immediately after a procedure while my lips were still numb and couldn’t really talk properly, she slapped a statement in front of me, and demanded for me to pay. There were a couple other times, when I noticed that I had paid per their estimated amount but it was more than I should after the insurance payment, and later asked her for a refund but the refund checks never showed up.
The worst one was for a charge of a few hundred dollars last year to replace a broken crown. They didn’t bother to explain to me about the charge in advance while I was under the impression that it was part of the whole charge of a crown replacement, and afterwards slapped the extra charge on me. Later the dentist himself said that part of the reason was that he’d be traveling and they couldn’t schedule me in. I also realized later that another dentist across the street can take care of the issue during the same day while I had to wait for 3 weeks and pay extra with Bailey. When I disputed the charge, Stacie basically said that since I didn’t ask, therefore it’s my responsibility to pay, she even threatened me with collection, attorney, and the fact I have signed a contract with them to pay whatever amount is charged to me when I came to this office the first time.
I feel I had enough. I found another dentist, and double-​checked their practice. I was told that they don’t have these issues I had with Bailey. I would keep my fingers crossed, and hope for the best. Good luck with your search.

It’s really unfortunate to have to write this review because we’ve been with Dr. Bailey for a decade so I feel that we’ve gained a good rapport with him, Stephanie at the front desk, and the other staff. However I never would have imagined feeling so much tension with our own dental practice. Stacie (his wife) was extremely rude to my mother and I when we brought up some concern with a $ 70 charge after I had called in a few hours ahead of my appointment to possibly reschedule. She was adamant about not reversing the charge, as we have cancelled a total of 7 appointments in the past (out of the 4 people in my family, over the span of 10 years). She later e-​mailed me asking that I needed to schedule a follow up and asking if there was something they did to «displease us,» so I responded explaining my concern about how they seemed a bit punitive, but that we’re happy to remain loyal customers. She e-​mailed me back telling us to find a dental practice that does not mind missing appointments, and gave us our release forms. Ouch. I highly do not recommend Superior Dental.

Almost every time I came in I was told I needed fillings. I guess I just assumed dentists were trustworthy? We ended up moving and this location wasn’t near us anymore. At my new dentist I told them about all the work and they seemed really shocked. Then I told her that he had suggested getting two more. The new dentist did a full set of x-​Rays and confirmed what I suspected, there was zero need to fill those teeth.
One of the times he did my fillings he did such a sloppy job that I’m told now that the filling is way too large and will eventually need to become a crown.
Any time he numbed me his hands would shake. Once he hit a nerve ending in my gums with the needle and as a result I had horrible pain for 3 months on that side of my mouth. My entire jaw was in searing pain constantly and any time I called about it I was told it would just eventually subside. I had to take Advil every day for months!
Finally, my husband was also seen there and had a similar experience. Once when he was being numbed, he had the physical symptoms of a panic attack. The dentist told him he must be allergic to epinephrine which is in the numbing agent. He said this to our new dentist and the new one told him it is very very rare for that to happen and said it was more likely the dentist hit a vein with it and it got into his blood stream. Sure enough, he had a filling done and they used epinephrine numbing agent and he had no reaction this time.
I never had any issues with the customer service, it just seems like any time I went in they were trying to push some cosmetic thing on me or giving me more fillings, which is rare for me. I would never recommend this dentist to anyone!

I absolutely loved this office! Every single person who works here was incredibly nice and hospitable to me. It does not feel like a stiff, sterile environment like you may sometimes find in a dentist’s office. Each employee was personable, and they conveyed information about my teeth health very clearly. I would recommend this office for dental care hands down — Dr. Bailey and his staff are great.

The staff, service, and facilities, are all top notch. My daughters and I love the place and I would recommend this office to anyone.

Horrible bedside manners. Completely messed up a crown and I ended up having to pay for a root canal and a new crown because of it. Couldn’t get me numb then suggested it was related to substance abuse which is completely appalling because #1 Never ever touched drugs and #2. Every other dentist I’ve ever been to has never had a problem numbing my mouth.
UPDATE IN RESPONSE:
The comment specifically was «I never have trouble getting people numb unless they have had a history of substance abuse» because I wasn’t getting numb. Sorry but this is the correct office and I’m not changing my review other than maybe put the exact comment in. The crown not fitting and getting a hole was a true story and cost me a lot of $$ I can’t get back…

Casual relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff. I switch to Dr. Bailey as a result of our previous dental provider «not getting» the sensitivity of my autistic child. Dr. Bailey heard my concerns and helped my son with his fears of the dentist. I couldn’t be happier.
