We have been here a couple of times now and have been dying to try a GOAT cookie but they are always out. The cupcakes have always been good and the coffee is great but a couple of days ago we got to finally try the GOAT cookie and a crack cookie as well and they are AMAZING!!! I am a cupcake girl but I think I will always want the cookies more here.

Came here to order 7 shakes,(which are $ 6 a piece) and the girl at the register was very rude the minute I told her I was ordering a lot of shakes. Very rudely she answered saying we are out brownies and cookies and cream ice cream. A couple walked in asking for coffee and she said «sit down cause I am going to take long» the couple asked even for coffee and she said «yea» they walked right out. Honestly if I wasn’t picking up for other people, I would have walked out also with her attitude.

I found out about this place through the Unilocal Big Bites in Little Haiti event. I tried their banana pudding and it was SO GOOD! Best banana pudding I’ve tasted! Very creamy, not an overpowering banana taste. Just the perfect amount of flavor. Friend and I were in the neighborhood going to dinner and we stopped by later that night to get some. They only had one left so we shared that, the guayabera cupcake, chocolate and coconut cupcake and pumpkin shot dessert– all delicious! Staff was really sweet (no pun intended) and had great suggestions. We didn’t know what to get since everything looked so yummy. Please go and try the banana pudding, it’s life changing! I promise!

Omg awesome cupcakes, what can I say was next door at Latin house and all I San say it was faith. The cup cakes are awesome. Baking at its finest staff friendly and know there stuff and they have awesome sandwich list have to come back to try one.

Love this place– yes everything is great — just don’t try to get your free GOAT cookie geez lol– don’t offer a free cookie when you check in– then when someone checks in right in front of you 2 times you still won’t give them a cookie lol???

The cupcakes & the macaroons were very delicious!!! I had the pleasure of trying several cupcakes but the one cupcake I enjoyed was a stawberry cupcake. This cupcake had bits of strawberry in the mix and topped off with a little strawberry wafer. Perfect ending to a scrumptious cupcake. I also had the pleasure of a cake batter macaroon. This was my first time having a macaroon and it completely made me understand the big fuss about Macaroon. Thank you, Sweetness Bakery for the understanding and such GREAT SWEETS!!!

Best macaroons I’ve ever tried my new favorite. I also tried some custards that were really good. I will be definitely returning to this place. I would recommend you taking some of their stuff to a party or get together.

Cupcakes were awesome! Staff was very friendly… Definitely give it a super thumbs up! I must visit!

Bakeries are always my favorite specially when they look so flipping cute. The smell of coffee and fresh baked cookies always makes me so happy.
So far I’ve tried their tres leche milk shake, super yummy. Cupcakes are moisty which makes them perfect. And the best cookie is the salted chocolate. And they have the best coffee relentless roasters

These cupcakes were fantastic! I had the guava, elvis, samoa, vanilla, and red velvet. I also got a dulce de leche oatmeal bar thing, but I didnt like it.
The inside of the shop was cute and welcoming. I love the open work area and the chalk board menu.
I came on a Sunday afternoon and was kind of disappointed due to the lack of other yummy treats to try. There was only a few to choose from, so maybe this was because of the time of day that I went. I am going to go back though to try more cupcakes and stuff. Also, I found out that they dont make donuts anymore. I should have been there during the donut making days of Sweetness Bakeshop.

This place is soooooo cute!!! I love their décor and of course their goodies… Especially macaroons and cupcakes. I haven’t tried their merengues but they looked quite yummy so I will have to continue to visit and try other things.
It’s relatively small with few seating but feels cozy and very inviting. It’s well kept and clean.
They make sandwiches to order and have sweets available for purchase. Haven’t tried their shakes but it’s something I’d definitely have one day. They also make empanadas, cakes, empanadas and brownies.

Omg so good!!! Their guava and dulce de leche cupcakes are to die for! This is my go to for parties and staff get togethers. I’ve been wanting to try their breakfasts one of these days so I’ll have to stop by. The location is small but seeing as how they are not an eat in kind of place it suits them. They are great with large orders.
Only downside is that I wish they would have more of their crazy flavors available daily.

I’ve been enjoying their desserts for years… not only do they have great cupcakes, but also their menu includes mini dessert shots, macaroons, weekly lunch specials and brunch. The little shop is nicely decorated and the service is always good.

#sweetnessbakeshop after trying for weeks to get in contact with Yami, multiple emails, no response, went to the store twice to try & speak with her & nothing. After a third attempt, still no response from the owner, we were finally able to place an order for 1 cupcake with an employee. During a second attempt to pick up, (because when we first went at our scheduled pick-​up time it was not there) 1. we were told the fondant was ruined in transport to the shop from the owners house. 2. The cupcake is incomplete, it’s missing a #1, that they broke & at the shop they could not fix it. We’ve loved #sweetnessbakeshop & have ordered for all our functions, but we will no longer be customers!

Awesome service, outstanding cupcakes, and a great vibe! Loved it and will be coming back. Glad I stumbled upon this cute bakery.

Love the variety here. From cookies to donuts to cupcakes to mousse cakes to dessert shots to gelato to macarons to you name it!
Been to Sweetness before and after their renovation, and I absolutely love the aftermath! Definitely admire the new look and the cute quotes and doodles on the chalkboard walls.
At my last visit, my honey and I enjoyed a tiramisu cup and a Greatest Of All Time (G.O.A.T.) cookie (free from Unilocal check-​in — thanks!). The tiramisu had a pudding-​like consistency, but still quite a nice, light delight — which is what I really needed after a very heavy dinner. It’s definitely a great treat to have if you’re craving something sweet but not too sweet and too heavy. I had the G.O.A.T. cookie to go after eating the tiramisu to digest. Twenty minutes later on the car ride back, I had a crave to try a little piece of the cookie. I had no intention to finish it, but after one bite, my honey and I devoured it – I forgot how full I was earlier! The G.O.A.T. is thick and soft, and I come to believe there’s brownie batter in the center though I could be wrong. There’s chocolate in each bite. And I can’t remember the rest of the ingredients because we just ate the whole thing, enjoying the cookie and not analyzing it. All I know, it’s just full of awesomeness!
The bakers/​cashiers are really friendly, and one of them has such a spunky, enthusiastic personality that lights up the entire room. Great service there, and although it may seem small from the outside, there’s enough sitting space to enjoy the treat and run. Also to note, they have board games if you plan to stay awhile, with your coffee/​beverage and treat on hand.

Had these yummy cupcake earlier at the Unilocal Big Bite event in Little Haiti a couple of weeks back. I’m a avid Instagram follower. I got there I was very hungry, I went with the intention of having lunch and purchasing a couple assortment of cupcakes. I got there and there I was greeted and I looked into their display there wasn’t really an assortment of cupcakes. There was less than ten flavors to choose from. I ordered my favorite red velvet, 2 Snicker inspired, one guava, and one vanilla. The Halloween theme flavored weren’t ready. I was told that they started a little late, and won’t be ready for a while. Since on Instagram I saw food, I asked what was available for lunch? The young lady said, «I’m sorry, we no longer serve lunch.» There goes my plans of eating a descent lunch. I ordered my assortment and took them home to eat. All I can say that every cupcake gets a thumbs up. All were very tasty and fully moist. It’s a drive from where I come from. But I will return.

GREAT experience at Sweetness!
Eva made us feel extremely welcomed and the sweets were good. My favorite dessert was the Oreo milkshake; while my boyfriend liked the GOAT (greatest of all time) cookie. He also tried the birthday cake cookie, which tasted like a sugar cookie, guava mini cupcake, which was good, and the cheesecake, which was also good.
My only regret was not taking a picture before my boyfriend ate everything! I’ll definitely have to go back when they have the bread pudding.

Sweetness Bakeshop is a really cute little bake shop nestled in the corner between Pizza Johny’s and the Latin House. It has a wonderful assortment of mouth watering mini cupcakes, some of the best cookies and macaroons I’ve tasted.
This review will be too long if I start to get into details about which one is better.
Suggestion– buy one of each and two of what you think your favorite will be and that’s only the cupcakes.
The cookies are out of control, esp the GOAT and the homemade Oreo.
The Sweetness Bakeshop also a few nice craft beers if you need to wash down that cookie/​cupcake.
Although I did found that a little odd?
Nevertheless, it’s a great place to pick up some munchies.

I really can’t think of an adequate word to describe how much I love this place. It’s so great, fantastic, delicious, amazing, I could go on and on. I discovered this gem via Unilocal a couple of weeks ago and since then I’ve hit it up once a week, at least. I never leave without a GOAT cookie and usually I end up sampling a couple cupcakes, and other tasty treats they have in their case.
I love how they have board games and serve wine/​beer too. Like yeah going to a bar with your girls is a lot of fun but if that’s not your scene anymore (/​raises hand) then how fun would it be to meet up here to have some delicious baked foods, a couple glasses of beer, and a board game?
Also, everyone that works there is super nice. I have yet to run into someone there that doesn’t look like they are so siked to be there, giving you suggestions and such. It really makes the difference and makes me want to come back again and again.

Sweetness Bakeshop is great because of the variety of delicious treats it has to offer. Cupcakes aren’t your thing? Try their cookies! Or their milkshakes or their ice cream or their food. They have a lot to offer.
If there is one thing you should try from them it’s their GOAT Cookies. Soft, chewy, and chocolatey. They’re worth every damning calorie. The cupcakes are great too and are neatly presented.
Service is always great. I’m in and I’m out. I can order over the phone a large amount of cupcakes or cookies and they’ll have them ready. You need to at least check out this place once, twice, or three times.

Stopped by here after leaving my eye appointment not too far from here. I was starving and excited to try some of the food I had seen on Unilocal.Little did I know that they only serve food for lunch (11 am to 3 pm, I believe) and it was now 5 pm. I was so bummed out and I told the lady «oh man, I was looking forward to trying you out since I have a Unilocal friend that comes here so often and I’ve been wanting to try it out.» She then told me we don’t normally do this, but I will make you anything from our regular menu. I was like oh man, thank you soooo much (I was seriously about to pass out, was also getting «hangry»).
I ended up ordering a cup of their soup of the day — tomato bisque and the California chicken sandwich. The soup was good, just wasn’t warmed up/​hot enough. The sandwich was also good, it had chicken, bacon, and an avocado spread. Actual slices of avocado I think would’ve been better though.
While I was waiting and eating people kept coming in to get cupcakes, but they only had three different flavors left, so most people would leave empty handed. Finally when I was finished I decided to take some cupcakes to go, because with that many people coming in for some they must be good.
I got each of the flavors that was left, French toast, coconut lemon, and Florida’s finest (orange). Got some for a friend, my hubby and myself. I only ended up trying one, the French toast one, it was ok, not my favorite. I gave my friend a coconut lemon one and she said it was amazing and wanted to know where I got it?! Would like to come back and maybe be able to try their normal everyday flavors like vanilla. I’m more of a purist when it comes to cupcakes :-/​.
I also decided to be a fatty and get an Oreo milkshake to go. That was pretty good and helped keep me cool, calm and collected through the «wonderful» Miami/​Kendall traffic I had to deal with when I left.
So a huge thank you to the ladies of Sweetness for feeding me outside of the lunch hour and for being so nice and checking in throughout my meal if everything was ok. Would definitely return, maybe even on a weekend for brunch.

I get it — they have unique cupcake flavors that include bacon, yadda yadda yadda. Even after repeated visits, I just don’t get the hype over their cupcakes. I’ll base my 4 stars on everything else.
1 for creative menu.
2 they serve beer.
3 they serve ice cream as well.
4 they also have food.
Great place, but I their cupcakes aren’t «pretty» enough to display at an event (in my opinion).

After eating pizza next door, I had an itch for something sweet. Luckily, sweetness was right in front of me!
They have a nice amount of tables and a big table in the front. They have games available too! (Sweet right?) I got a «homey» feeling.
As I was looking at the cupcake selection, I noticed they had the dunkaroo cupcake that I have been wanting to try, but wasn’t there the previous times I have gone. Do you think I got it? Oh yeah! ‘Twas delicious!
I also got the fried Oreos, which came with a side of condensed milk. So yummy!
I haven’t tried the famous G.O.A.T. cookie, but I will definitely be back to try that along with other things!

I love this place ever since they opened. The cupcake sizes are perfect so you don’t feel too guilty and they offer a variety of flavors. Depending on the day of the week they change but some are available on a daily basis. They also have desert shots which are delicious as well. Also a small portion of bigger sized desserts like key lime pie, tiramisu, or tres leches just to name a couple. Their crack cookie is phenomenal and they also have some interesting remixes on some already popular desserts. They offer shakes and many, many, other dessert options. They also do brunch and lunch options. I really do love this place. Where else can you get an arroz con leche cupcake?! And best of all its. Hands down one of my favorite places to get dessert. I’ll skip it at a restaurant to come here and have it!

This is the first time I review anything on Unilocal and it’s sad that it took a negative experience to get me to post for the first time. We have been coming to Sweetness Bakeshop since moving back to Miami 3 years ago. Always the dessert stop after our Latin House dinners.
Three weeks ago we stopped by and met with the owners daughter to design our Nautical Baby Shower cake. They seemed super accommodating and very in sync with our idea for what we wanted the two tiered cake to look like. They kept a copy of our invite (after complimenting how unique it was) and we decided that just for good measure I would email them a picture of the cake we all looked at –which was to be the design. They advised that since our baby shower was on a Sunday morning — it would be best to pick up Saturday late afternoon. After walking out, my husband and I were excited and looking forward to the final product.
Fast forward to the afternoon before our event– when my husband goes to pick up the cake and it’s not done. The staff was rude when he arrived and were dealing with another customer who also had issues with her cupcake order. They mixed up the dates and had put the pick up date to be Sunday afternoon. Rightfully so my husband got upset and began to complain about how disorganized they were and how they needed to correct the situation. After the staff called the owner at another location to ask about the cake they assured him they were going to work on it, it would be completed late that night and he could pick it up the next morning at 9am. Two hours later the owner, Yami, personally calls me to complain about my husbands attitude and that our cake was ready.
To make a long story short– below is the side by side picture of what we asked for and the picture they received and the finished product. They never apologized, handed over the cake, charged us full price (not cheap by the way) and did nothing for inconveniencing us. The cake looked like an amateur made it, not a reputable bakery.
This is the last time we step foot at Sweetness and at our shower we made sure to show our guests the bad job they did… A lot of guests who happen to be customers and couldn’t believe that Sweetness produced something like this.

I spontaneously stopped here to grab some cupcakes on my drive home (as well as GOAT cookies for checking in on Unilocal) and I’m really glad I did.
The cupcakes were all pretty good. I tried the guava, drum stick, flan, and Nutella. Out of those I sincerely cannot choose a favorite, so I’ll just say the Drum Stick for originality. They weren’t crazy good at all, though. What really impressed me, though, were the GOAT cookies I received for checking in on Unilocal (you have to visit twice).
Seriously, those GOAT cookies were out of this world.
You don’t understand.

In fact, I wasn’t even able to save the second cookies for my hard working bf to have at dinner. Ask me if I feel bad about it.
CAUSE I DONT. Those cookies were the bomb diggity and over my dead body will I ever share one. Ever.

Try the guava cupcake, subtle yet delightful. It’s amazing how many cupcakes you can pack down here. They’re just so tasty you loose track of how many you’ve had.
Icecream is also available but the cupcakes are where its at. =)
