Mango Empress

Loveeee this place! So glad they opened it up in Fei Long! I frequent the food court a lot! So when i saw this i figured it was just another boba pop up place. I decided to give it a try anyway. I ordered the empress strawberry soda since i wanted something refreshing. I always like to watch the way they make my food or drink so i was scoping the guy out. What looked like strawberry preserves or just muddled up strawberries was added to my drink with club soda and mint. As for the sweetener, i didn’t see what was added. But let me tell you, it was sooooo good and lightly sweet but super refreshing! And i was surprised that it was pure strawberry! I had to get another so i tried the mango soda which was good but not as good as the strawberry mint. I love this new place and the Fei long food court needed something just like this!

Decided to try this spot out since i was in bk. Gotta say it was a pretty good experience. My drink was sooo good. I really felt like my mangos were being squeezed by an actual empress!

Initially was not expecting this place to be in a food court. The plus side is that there are many seats available so that you dont have to stand and wait. Ordered a Mango Pomelo and was surprised to find that it was served in a cup. It was deliciously refreshing but I would’ve liked more mango chunks. Overall, a great dessert spot for mango lovers like me.

If there’s one thing 8^th avenue has in spades, it’s bubble tea places. Well, now that Mango Empress is open, you don’t even need to leave the Fei Long food court to find some. Well, this isn’t even the only option in the complex.
Mango Empress is probably the best one, just because it’s clean and they have a ton of options. They even have a list of their top sellers. I had the matcha milk tea and the kumquat one. The matcha was better and didn’t taste too artificial like a lot of other places.
A large and a medium came out to $ 6 on the dot, so not a bad deal. A good option for a drink when you’re dining at the food court.

They’re bubble tea taste really good. I’ve only tried the green tea bubbles and regular bubble tea.

Had the Milk Tea w/​brown sugar, saw the display and ordered the drink with basil seed. The seeds itself taste bland, almost like the kiwi seeds. The milk tea taste the same as any bubble tea place. Guess, they are having a promotion the cashier upgraded my drink to a large size for a total of $ 3.25 –Sweet deal

Very good personality service, they will only offer the freshest fruit daily, strongly recommended!!!

Stuck between the the rose milk tea and the apple green tea, I ended up getting the latter. It was pretty good. It’s obviously apple syrup but I like it. Both the tea and the syrup is strong.
This drink earns some stars.
Unfortunately I can’t say the same thing for the grapefruit yogurt that my sister tried. To start off, I thought it was fresh grapefruit (which was not) but that part didn’t really bother us. What we didn’t like was the fact that it was almost tasteless. There’s only the faint taste of yakult. If the cup wasnt labeled and we didn’t buy the drink ourselves, we wouldn’t even know this was supposed to be grapefruit.
I would come back to try other drinks and maybe some desserts too.

I don’t frequently eat sweets but this place just opened up so I decided to try it out. I ordered the taro sago with coconut and a cup of red date tea for my girlfriend. The total came to about $ 6. The taro soup was much better than other places that I have tried before. The red date tea is one of their specialties and I also really liked it.
I would recommend everyone to give this place a try!

So I read the reviews of others and decided to come here and try their drinks.
One of the review says their «lemon fresh drink» is good so I decided to try it.
It is good!!! Not too sweet, just the right amount of sourness that can only come from natural, real fruits! This was perfect!!! Makes me want to come back for more!!!
This place rocks! So happy we have something like this in Brooklyn.~
If you live here, this is a must visit!

This place adds to Fei Long Supermarket. The bubble tea is on point and so are the treats. Overall the tea tastes better than what other competing places offer. I guess their formula has been refined and it shows.

I’m not really a dessert person, but however I tried this new place inside the Fei Long market. And surprisedly it was pretty good, store is nice and clean, would go back again if I happen to be in Brooklyn again.

Came in to my favorite after-​work super market. Grabbed some dessert to go eat on the way home. so convenient that’s it’s all in one supermarket. there was a long line but the manager gave me a free scoop of ice cream. I’m glad this was opened up. so much better than the malatang crap I usually smell. they also play my old school Jacky Cheung songs.

Hungry walking to my usual food court, and saw this mango empress thing. After looking through their menu and slide show screens I realized this is just another one of those bubble tea place.
But since I do need something to drink to go with my meal so why not? I went with one of their «nai cha» (milk tea).
The friendly staff recommended me a «Black sugar milk tea» with tapioca. At first sip, I was fairly surprised at how smooth it tastes, but as I drink more, the deep layers of flavor started to come out! This is no ordinary bubble tea.
The price is not super low but its definitely worth every penny and good down to the last sip.

Holy cow!!! Never did I come to expect this!!! I started with a «Empress Fresh Lemon Tea» for $ 3.99…I did not have high expectations because, after all, there are desert and tea spots everywhere now a days… And this one is in a large food court~ how could can it be!!!
But, man, did this drink slapped me silly!!! It was sooooooo good!!! It was sooooo refreshing and sooooo real!!! It was not those powdery fake none sense you drink for $ 1.99. This is the real deal. It was so good I had two!!! I had to ask them what was in it… they told me that they use an entire lemon in the drink aside from secret ingredients.
Man! The best $ 3.99 I have ever spent for a drink in any tea place!!!
I am going to do their desert after my lunch~ I will post a review and keep you good folks of Brooklyn posted on how this new joint is!!!

I ordered two desserts for my girlfriend and my mom, the Mango Sago Soup with Fruits and the Mango Pomelo. The cashier told me five minutes but it just took them forever to have my order together and I was the only customer.
I was extremely shocked how small the portions were. I paid around ten dollars for two small cup of desserts. It was just sad that the dessert really only filled half the take-​out cup. Both desserts were such a disappointment. Ingredients were not fresh at all. Mango and pomelo really tasted like it was out for a long time. Sago balls are stuck together. Once again, not fresh at all.

For the record, this place is actually called Mango Empress. A brand new dessert vendor inside of Fei Long Supermarket. Knowing that the dessert competition is firing up on 8^th Avenue, I knew I had to try it. Upon arrival, I noticed that the displays and menu items are very familiar. It was like a mix of Beautiful Memory Dessert and Mango Mango.
Mango Sago Soup with Glutinous Rice Balls. At first sight, the amount given was extremely stingy for it was at least an inch between the lid and the soup. My lid was still untouched and clean by the time I walked home with it. What about the taste? To my disappointment, the mango juice really had no flavor. Glutinous rice balls were really hard and hard to chew on. Sago was mostly lumps. Mango pieces were not fresh at all.
Sorry (not sorry) but I rather have Kulu or Beautiful Memory.
