History

Established in 2009.

After years in the floral industry owner/designer Jacqueline Ahne started her Floral Design By Jacqueline Ahne in 2009. She started taking Floral Design classes at Golden West Community Collage in January 2005 and fell in love. The classes opened her eyes to many unique techniques and ways of design. She completed the certificate program at Golden West in May 2007. Later that year she spent three months in Europe studying with world renowned floral designer Gregor Lersch. Upon her return to California, she took the manager and head designer position at Costa Mesa Florist until the owners decided to close the doors in 2009. She is a proud member of the advisory committee for the Floral Design Program at Golden West, has competed and placed in many competitions through out Southern California, and continues to attend various educational programs. She completed the process to become CCF, California Certified Florist, in 2009.

Meet the Business Owner

Jacqueline Ahne D.

Business Owner

I pride myself in the details of an arrangement. Details make it extraordinary. I find myself consistently looking at floral design magazines, wedding magazines, blogs and anything else I can get my hands on. When I get new products or vases I get like a kid on Christmas. In other words I am a complete flower dork!

Education is very important to me. I have had the opportunity to study with wonderful floral designers all over the world. I even spent a few months in Germany with a world renowned floral designer. It was the most exciting thing to ever happen to me. There is never a time when something can not be learned.
