First class all the way. Great front desk staff and the spa and sauna were fantastic. The equipment in the gym is new and overall a really nice place to workout on a vacation.

Came here for my honeymoon with my wife. Couples massage: $ 250. Scheduled it for 10AM, and we show up in the morning, my wife and I and another woman, standing outside of the spa doors. No one was available to help, so here comes the front desk attendant(who was a nice guy, but obviously not a Sage Springs Spa employee) and he’s literally running down the hallway to fetch us robes and slippers. So it’s already a little weird, unorganized, as the attendant told us the Spa employees are running a little late. Ironic for such an expensive service. So anyways, he gets us our robes and slippers and we go into the locker rooms to change and we go back into the Spa(by this time it is 10:08) and finally the Spa front desk clerk is there. They put the 3 of us in the Temporary relaxation room… Which was kind of awkward, as it was really small. But whatever, no big deal, I’m thinking, oh they’ll be here any minute and I’ll be on my way to a world class massage. 10 – 15 minutes passes and finally our masseuses walk in. Long story short, both our massages were comparable, if not inferior to that of a small Asian massage parlor, where I’ve spent $ 35-$ 50 for an hour. It was like they weren’t even trying, or like they were brand new. Then we walk out and one of our massagers tells us «we usually have tea and chocolates for you in the private relaxation room, but here’s some chocolate, the room is under construction.» She would’ve been better off not saying anything. Such a huge and expensive disappointment, especially for our honeymoon. The only good thing was the locker room; they have a really nice steam room and hot tub and showers. I milked my time in there as long as I could because I felt like I got ripped off so bad. UPDATE: The woman in charge called us as a result of my wife complaining and refunded our money 100%. This was a really courteous action taken by her and we appreciated it. We will return to check out their newly renovated facility someday.

I have been coming to Sage Springs Spa for 11 years, during slow times and busy times such as peak summer days and winter holidays. On Dec 31st2015, I had reserved an appointment for a facial. I called the afternoon prior to confirm the appointment and request an add-on of an upper lip wax. The spa staff informed me that there was no time in the calendar for the wax given it was New Years Eve day, one of their busiest days of the year. I said no problem, see you tomorrow. I check-in at the spa on the 31st10 minutes before my scheduled facial, and they show me to the locker room, I get into my robe & slippers, etc. I sit in the relaxation room for 10 minutes. No one shows up to call me in for the facial. I finally go outside to the front desk as they are running 10 minutes late. They check the calendar and then inform me that I don’t have an appointment — that some other name is listed under the exact facial I was supposed to have at 10am that day. Then the spa staff tells me that my mother in law just called to offer to pay for my facial(she is a spa member) and that they confirmed my sister-in-law has a mani-pedi. I ask how could this have happened, and they bluster their way through a couple excuses, continuing to mention that they remember talking to my mother-in-law a couple times, my sister-in-law, and finally another woman comes over and says she remembers talking to me and that she helped me confirm my appointment the day before. One of the women says«well, too many people in the same family calling… maybe the mani-pedi appointment was the issue», insinuating that when my sister-in-law called a few days prior to make her appointment, they somehow«accidentally» cancelled mine. Unbelievable, to insinuate blame to my in-law just because we have the same last name, when clearly the spa screwed up! They didn’t apologize, didn’t go above and beyond to try to get me rescheduled that day. If they really cared about customer service they would have admitted their mistake and sent someone to my house, or offered a complimentary treatment the next day, or something for the fact that I just left my 8 week old daughter at home with a babysitter, had to pump milk to leave her, and COMPLETELYWASTED my time! One of the women immediately starts to get pushy, «how about a 25 minute massage right now?» I tell her I am not interested in a massage, and want to understand why my facial was cancelled and that I am interested in having it done that day… She then offers a 20 minute hand and foot paraffin treatment. Didn’t she just hear that I said I am only interested in a facial? They claim they can’t get me in until two days later. «let’s hold an appointment for you two days from now» she says, and I agree. I go into the locker room, completely let down that my efforts to get a facial on New Years’ Eve have been ruined. I go home. My mother-in-law calls the spa to complain about how I was treated. The spa goes back and checks their phone messages from the night before. Apparently«Kylie C.» called to cancel an appointment and the spa went ahead and cancelled my facial instead. Still no attempt was made to get me in that day — the spa only offered an appointment the following morning at 8am. Right, like who is awake at 8am on New Years Day? Then, I decide to call and just cancel the appointment the spa staff pressured me into holding on Jan 2nd. STEPHANIE picks up, and confirms the cancellation and listens to my reasoning for cancelling — that I am disappointed with how I was treated and that the spa has not apologized for cancelling my appointment. Then, get this. Apparently STEPHANIE did not actually cancel my appointment! My mother-in-law, because she offered to pay for my previous facial(but not this one) gets a call from the spa saying I didn’t show for my treatment on Jan 2nd and that they are going to charge her. WHAT?! They are going to give her the bill because she offered to pay for my other treatment which the spa inadvertently cancelled? The nail technicians went above and beyond to help out an emergency situation for our bride. Coming in super early to help get nails done. Could not be more thankful for how flexible and wonderful these people were! HIGHLY recommend.

Let me preface this by saying when I checked in I was PISSED and ready to cancel my services when they informed me there is no food/drink service at the spa because of renovations. WTF if I’m dropping a few bills at a spa, I’d like to order food and a martini. This is info they could have shared when I booked the services. Before being a whiner and complaining to the management, I decided to see how the services measured up. Hence my 5 star review. Loree is AMAZING. Not only does she know all the nooks and crannies in the human body, but she also knows how to use her arms and hands as tools. It was like she was reading my mind and knew every sore aching spot that needed her attention. I am confident in declaring this the best massage I’ve had.

Well this is a very mixed review. Overall because of issues. I will not return. We had a family vacation and all the girls wanted spa day. So I contacted Brittany and we worked together to get these scheduled. She was very helpful when the anticipation of 14 clients and a couple thousand dollars were running through the spa from this event. She said all of us would receive 10% off our services as a group. Which was awesome. On SPADAY… My facial was cut short by about 15 minutes because the aesthetician was running late… Stated she was running late but when she apologized she never said MY service was being cut short yet it was. In addition to that because 2 members of our group chose a package of massage and facial pat checkout we were told we didn’t qualify for the discount… Hmmmm the services were already booked when I was told about the discount. Now a sudden change. When I sent email to them(Brittany) she NEVER responded. So sad and disappointed as this wasn’t an inexpensive endeavor. To be cheated twice by them and ignored is very upsetting.

Took advantage of the Fall Special Packages. The facial was awesome. The tech spent 60 minutes, 10 over, to make my skin feel like I was 21 again. She was knowledgeable and friendly. The spa is very relaxing and a great place to spend the afternoon in Sunriver!

The Sage Spa was beautiful and full of extras– steam room. Hot Tub, lap pool. I paid for three services: body wrap, massage, and reflexology. I did the services in this order on purpose to have a wonderful relaxing day starting from treatment from head to toe. I typically get massages and specifically reflexology every two weeks. My first service required an exfoliation and treatment with a moisturizer to hydrate skin. The therapist missed my feet– I assumed because she talked so much no problem– two more services to go. Not the case. The reflexology consisted of my legs and top of foot never touch the heel of the foot and never went through the pressure points. I felt guilty conveying my concerns since she bragged on going about her wonderful skill set. I like the comment by one reviewer get an inexpensive service and be treated like you had all. I would do the same if I go back. The services were not exceptional for me, just good. I believe my therapist was just not into servicing clients she was ready for her vacation the next day. Unfortunately, I did not received what I anticipated.

I was a member of Sage Springs and I loved every minute I went there! The entire place is a 5 ***** relaxing experience! I truly miss the exercise room, pool(salt water mind you) and lovely women’s dressing and shower area! I used the spa service a couple times for massage and the service was divine. I am a Sunriver Home Owner and my dues at the SHARC are very cheap so I discontinued my membership with Sage Springs, But recommend it to the highest to anyone wanting a lovely relaxing elegant experience.

SPASERVICE: Pedicure(plus amenities) PROS: Get there early or stay late to enjoy the hot tub and the steam room. You can get some bang for your buck by getting the least expensive service(like a manicure) and you then have access to all the amenities. I understand there is a $ 20+ entry fee if no spa services purchased.(Not free at this time as mentioned in a previous review) You can also play tennis, swim laps and use the fitness room. They provide lockers, robes, towels, nice showers and the like. The locker room attendant mentioned you can even leave and come back if within the same day.(she was hoot and sweetheart, tip her) CONS: I thought this would be the best pedi of my life! $ 80 worth! Not even close ENDRESULT: The«free» amenities we took advantage of were better than the spa service itself. KICKER: My friend had the exact same experience right behind me with the same lady… as her appointment was after mine. Our notes on the pedi were exact. UPDATE: I called the spa a few days later, as I looked back at the website description and found key services were not performed… to their credit, they refunded us in full.

Loved the spa! Treat yourself to a great experience here. A true spa-like atmosphere from reception to sauna. Love the ladies jacuzzi spa with mist droplets and twinkling«stars», the little bathrobes and slippers, the quiet relaxation waiting area, and the pedicures in the massaging chairs in this little quiet room, oh my. I wish I could go back there right now! And if you use any of the spa services, you have the run of the place for the whole day. So go work out and get yourself a massage/mani-pedi or just relax in the back. That’s a vacation!

Relaxing. Great service. Fabulous facial. Wish I was there now! Visiting Sunriver, I had to check out the spa. Checked in for a pilates class at the fitness center, which was great. Perfect to workout right before a relaxing visit to the spa. The spa robes are big and comfortable and wearing them waiting in the relaxation room was so nice. I had the Pure Radiance Facial and I enjoyed every minute. The esthetician was very thorough and knowledgeable. She introduced me to a product line made locally and I left the treatment room looking radiant. Five days later, my skin still looks good. My sister-in-law had the deep tissue massage and she was very pleased with her treatment too. A must-visit is the spa/whirlpool in the locker room area. Twinkling lights on the ceiling and piped-in bird calls make it a memorable experience. We both left there feeling relaxed and ready for an afternoon by the pool.

This place is top notch! The spa is an elegant place with tons of things to do. The facilities are free to Sunriver guests. I toured the gym – which was large and impressive, but didn’t use it. There were an indoor tennis courts as well. The lap pool was wonderful. You have to make a reservation, but it’s not that crowded. I enjoyed my swim very much. The women’s locker room was very beautiful. The lockers are digitally locking, there’s beautiful showers and a steam room. The jacuzzi was decorated like it was outside in the desert at night, complete with boulder rocks, a sunset, and twinkling stars. It was very relaxing! I did not use the spa for the manicure/pedicures because their spa services were really expensive.

Great spa! I try to make this place a regular stop on my trips to Sunriver. The spa is beautiful, the facilities are elegant, with lots of additional amenities, so go early before your appointment. Take advantage of the spa in the women’s locker room, the sauna, and their showers are great too for after your treatment. Both times I have been I had the river rock massage, I asked them to put aroma therapy in the oils as well, and they did. Both times by the end of the massage I was so relaxed I was slurring my speech, a sure sign of a fabulous rub down. The waiting room has wonderful teas, and treats. You feel truly pampered.

Beautiful resort spa, with great services and the most amazing locker room I’ve ever seen. I had a great facial here, but the real treat is the hot tub in the women’s locker room. The room the hot tub is in goes from a dusky light to night time over the period about a 30 hour, with the ceiling changing from a pink sunset to stars. It’s like hottubbing in a planetarium. They also had tasty treats in the locker room & refreshing infused water.
