AMC Weston 8

I love this theatre!!! So I guess you are wondering why I only gave it 3 stars? The reclining seats are great, the concession stand has everything and they have a full bar including beers on tap.
For the second time we walked in the theatre and the seats were dirty, things on the floor (if it happened once I would give this theatre a 5 but since it happened twice, I am sure it’s dirty often) The previous movie ends, lights should be on, cleaning each row and seat and then turn off lights and let the next group in. Both times when I went to look for someone to clean the seats — couldn’t find anyone. Finally went to the manager in the front of the theatre and he told me he would send someone but nobody ever came. 15 minutes later I found a theatre employee and asked for help. We love this theatre– please keep it clean!

Super comfortable seats, well maintained and clean. I love the fact that they have full bar as well.

What an amazing movie experience! Cozy, impeccably clean movie theatre, friendly staff and lots of isle space. They have incredibly comfortable reclining soft leather seats (much better quality than Cinebistro) with armrests and you can pick your seats. Oh and a full service bar! What more can you ask for? Weston 8 is AMAZING!!!

Newly remodeled. Clean, at least for now. Staffed bare bones. No apparent security, management and very few staff — even during peak hours. The seating is comfortable. Seats are leather, with motorized foot rests and recliners. There arent a lot of seats so reserve early. Most popular movies sell out. The seats are assigned… which is good except for when someone decides to sit in yours. Seen that a few times. And seen actual fights over it a few times too. Would prefer to see management and more staff visible. Would also prefer to see the food counter do a bit more cleaning behind the counter. The fryer is on cardboard which is a fire hazard and impossible to sanitize. There is also trash and popcorn everywhere.

This movie theater makes it worth going to movies! Features the most comfortable electric recliners known to man, with plenty of arm room. Everything in the theater is remodeled and has a bar inside too! I love this location it’s right near an awesome Italian restaurant called vignettos and a bar and grill restaurant called la Perla also in same plaza. Go to spot for date night or to have a fun night out with friends.

Weston 8 has totally remodeled the theater and really have done a beautiful job. You get to reserve your seat that are recliner seating where you have a lot of space in the aisle and around you then normal movie theater. They have a full bar which is great and the food is also an upgrade from normal movie theater food.

I had a great experience at this movie theater. They show you a screen when you buy tickets and you can actually pick your seat number (I’m not from FL). They had amazing electronic reclining seats. I am one of those people that sofa with my legs crossed during movies and has to switch them every 15 minutes… Not here! The chairs were comfortable and the temperature was perfect… Ohh and the movie I went to see was pretty good as well.

Wonderful theater so comfortable came for one movie stayed for two that should some it up for you. If you have a movie you want to see I suggest seeing it here love this place

Totally the best movie theater in town! A must go experience. Finally a movie theater the whole family can enjoy.

This was our first time at this theater. We had an AMC gift card and chose this one based on location.
Upon pulling in to the parking lot, I was disappointed. Looked like and older and smaller theater. I had visions of a dark, dingy theater with sticky floors, uncomfortable rickety seats and scratched up movie screen. Folks, just remember to never judge a book by its cover and get to know what’s inside before you judge.
First of all, the place was spotless. The staff that we came in contact with were friendly and helpful. Plus, we got to choose our seats. Dude! They even have a bar! I was already feeling better about the place. And then, we walked into our auditorium. The heavens opened up and the Angels started singing when we saw those awesome full reclining seats! The most comfortable movie watching experience ever! Even more comfortable than Cinebistro.
The auditorium was freezing cold though, so I might bring a blanky (and maybe a pillow ;)) next time.

We absolutely loved it. This is a truly cute movie theater, with amazing reclining chairs. It has a FULL SERVICE BAR. Seriously… what more can you ask for? It is a small, but very warm theater. It really gives you a great movie experience.
I really don’t understand the negative reviews. The staff is super friendly. It is our now our favorite movie theater.

We don’t do movies very often but we loved this place! You walk in and on the left is a really cool full service bar. Odd but cool to see this at a movie theatre. I like the fact you can select your seating with plush red recliners. Very comfy!
We will definitely be coming back!

Love the theater seats. Quite a nice theater. At 12:15 am the movie went blank. They had a power outage, allegedly, but the lights work so the bulb in the projector broke???
Do I ask for a refund?
Well, it turns out they fixed it in ten minutes or less. We had a little intermission and a little laugh with the rest of the audience. The staff were able to Rewind Star Wars to just before the screen went dark. I was a bit harsh too and the staff took it ever so professionally. So, five stars. Well done!

Went to this theater the day after Christmas to watch Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 3D. Most comfortable movie theater seats, ever! This was my first time in a theater where the seats fully recline — so comfy! The full bar right outside the theaters in the lobby area is also a big plus. Don’t think I can go to any another movie theater again!

Ok, the only way my experience could have gotten better is if I was there in my pajamas! The renovation is awesome!!! The seats recline as far back as you want them to (not like the seats in the economy section of airplanes). They are clean, comfy and there’s plenty of leg room. Even though there was a stranger sitting right next to us, the seats are large enough that he was not in our space. You can even reserve your seat online and know ahead of time where you’ll be sitting. This will be where I go for all of my movies from now on.

This theater is AMAZING since the renovation. Weston 8 used to suck, but now it’s like iPic junior. There are huge, soft reclining seats that let you lay back like you’re in bed and the armrests are double the size with double cupholders. There’s a bar with beer on tap and mixed drinks/​liquor. I got a long island iced tea for around $ 10 and it was very strong (which is a good thing). They also have those Coca-​Cola freestyle drink machines that are touch screen and let you choose the syrups and mix different flavors for your sodas (like cherry vanilla coke). What’s even more amazing is your can buy tickets online in advance and PICK YOUR SEATS. Prices are comparable to Cinemark. The early bird special (before 4pm) is currently $ 8.06 for Weston 8 and $ 7.15 for Cinemark. But on the flip side, the evening price (after 4pm) is currently $ 9.65 for Weston 8 and $ 10.40 for Cinemark. The prices even out depending on when you go.
My only complaint was that our theater had a sound bleed from the next theater over. Shouldn’t be able to hear the next movie over, even if there’s a quiet part in your movie and the next movie is in the middle of an action scene. PS to managers: We were in theater #10. Also, I don’t remember seeing any arcade games. Arcade games, even just a few, should always be included in the movie theater experience (house of the dead, dance dance revolution, pac man) are fun while waiting for your film to begin. But then again, the theater does seem to be aiming for that «upscale» vibe.
Overall, this theater has vastly improved. I’m shocked by the difference. I think this would a great place to hang out with friends, see an adult comedy movie while grabbing a few drinks, and definitely creates a great atmosphere for a date. I’m almost afraid to tell people about this because I was loving how quiet and pleasant it was, but I also want this place to stay in business for as long as possible.

Yay I’m a fan sort of. The renovation is great with leather BarcaLounger type chairs. I got popcorn and noticed a bar opposite the popcorn stand. The man said I could buy a drink AND bring it into the movie. Have I just died and gone to heaven? I’m a 65 year young senior citizen and a glass of wine with my popcorn sounded great. However I didn’t have ID so they wouldn’t serve me. I asked the manager Gabrielle to be reasonable but no such luck. It’s a beautiful local theatre but make sure to bring your ID.

AMC has completely revamped Weston 8 Cinemas into a more enjoyable movie experience! Everything is wonderful inside including the ability to self serve your non-​alcoholic drinks and ICEEs!
Reserved reclinable leather seating is the way of the future & this location does it well. I’m on the plus side though (my hips don’t lie) & thanks to my badunkadonk my seat was reclining without me even having to push it… So if you’re a big person too you might encounter this hands free experience too.
They’ve added a bar! Yes, a bar with alcohol! Everyone knows all good stories start with drinks & what better way to watch a story in screen than with a drink in hand?!
For $ 9 you can join their rewards program which includes waived convenience fees for tickets purchased through the AMC website, advanced screenings & free upgrades on popcorn. Definitely worth it.
My only complaint: the AC wasn’t working in theater 3 & I had to watch the Hunger Games as if I were a character in Panem suffering a heat wave but a quick visit to guest services & a refund was issued. All good in the hood.

They just renovated the theater. New everything. They have a great bar. All seats recline ask. The improvements are fantastic and really does make the theatre going fun and relaxing. The concession stand is fully stocked. They have the new soda vending machines that have 100s of favors.
Really well done and we are excited to come back! :)

I have been wanting to try this theater for months, finally went yesterday. We went to see MISSION IMPOSSIBLE. The theater was old and in disrepair but to its credit, it is undergoing a major renovation, which will make it hopefully very nice.
The personal hired was very nice and much better than the people who work at Aventura’s (by far). However, the Aventura theater is better in aesthetics with the exception of their hideous bathrooms and their service personnel.
With that said, there was a power outage while our movie was on, probably because they are renovating. They are having full recliner seats that are going to be red leather similar to AMC is dying in theaters, and I can’t wait. I will update then.
