This place was great. I took a drive out to Sunol today and saw that it had gone out of business. :(

If you like antiques or old chochkees that remind you of days gone by then check out the Whistle Stop Antiques. Since the shop has multiple vendors the prices vary. I saw some items that were very reasonable in fact I spent $ 5 on a great find for a friend. Other items seemed a bit pricy but it all depends on what your looking for. And as with any antique store or garage sale give your haggling skills a try (IF you feel it’s priced too high). It may not work but it doesn’t hurt to try and at least at that point you will know how bad you want it.
