Bay Area Riding School provides a solid foundation in horseback riding, care and horse behavior.
Along the way, children will build confidence, learn responsibility, develop coordination and rhythm, gain awareness, improve balance, and develop multi-tasking skills.
Adults can gain a thorough knowledge of horses from professional instructors. Our experienced instructors will teach you the ins and outs or horse behavior and horsemanship while training you in a new sport. While we are just minutes from the freeway, you’ll feel like you’re out in the county. Our lessons are all by appointment and can accommodate your busy schedule after work or on the weekends.

History
Established in 2014.
Crystal Forsell has been teaching riding lessons and training horses in the Bay Area for over a decade. Crystal decided to open a riding school dedicated to providing excellent professional instruction for beginners at our Sunol facility along side her existing dressage training and instruction for advanced riders business. Our Sunol location is convenient to many places throughout the bay area and just minutes from the freeway.

Crystal is a USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist dedicated to the correct education of new riders in equitation and horsemanship. In Crystal’s ten years of experience teaching horseback riding, she has developed a successful system and uses her creativity in teaching her riders. Crystal always keeps safety in mind, teaching her students about horse behavior as well as procedure to stay safe on and off the horse. As an active competitor herself, Crystal successfully introduces her students to the show ring when the student’s desire leads them there. She thoroughly enjoys introducing new riders to the sport of riding that she loves so much.
