Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt

Unfortunately this amazing yogurt shop is closed for good :(They had the most tasty yogurt along with the best toppings, including a peanut butter sauce that was to die for. I will miss this place! There’s not another DIY yogurt in Sunnyvale.

Not many topping options and not very friendly service. Decent for feeding your Froyo fix!

Stopped by for a quick froyo fix. The place was fairly empty but it seemed nice. Just one other customer and the cashier. The yogurt was good though and I liked that I got to put on my own toppings. There is some parking out front if you’re lucky enough to snag a spot.

This place has gone downhill since the new ownership came in. The yogurt is no longer smooth and creamy almost feeling watered down. We use to be regulars but it doesn’t look like we’ll be coming back.

Chocolate frozen yogurt tasted odd.
Fresh raspberries looked not-​so-​fresh.
Was clean but wasn’t that impressed with the product.

I have been more than a couple of time and I really like the yogurt options here with some new exciting weekly flavor at times and the topping options were pretty refreshing too with different dry fruits, cherries etc.
The best thing I felt was that as a patron you are supposed to pay for the total weight — based on some bucks per pound — regardless of the contents of the final delicacy.
Location is very good right at the Murphy Ave. and the desk people are usually pleasant. Pretty decent huh!!! Definitely a try…

Very very meh. The frozen yogurt is not creamy and quite watery, and I was pretty concerned that it would melt quickly. It’s also pretty expensive for a frozen yogurt place at $.49/​oz. There are quite a few flavors (around 10 – 12) and a decent amount of toppings, but the frozen yogurt quality is just not there. There’s seating inside the store as well as outside, so you can have your pick. I would highly recommend going to Yogurtland instead though!

Tutti Frutti is a nice place for a frozen treat in Sunnyvale. It’s not on par with Haagan Dazs ice cream because it’s frozen yogurt, but it’s clean, and you can sit inside or outside. There are nonfat yogurts, sorbets, and different flavored yogurts to choose from. The employees have always been very helpful and friendly. When the peanut butter dispenser was running low, they offered to refill it and when we asked if they had lychee, they went in the back and brought some out.
My son loves this place. He’ll serve himself 3 different flavors, pile all his favorites in, then pour sauce all over. I give him the smaller cup to fill of course :). Some days he doesn’t eat it all, but that’s okay. It’s a nice frozen treat on a hot day or a day to go out to have some fun. It’s great to go when you bundle up on a chilly evening, sit indoors or out, then chat with family or friends.
If you’re only looking for something really delicious, this isn’t it. This is bad junk food heaven with all the different toppings: breakfast cereal, candy bars, cookies, cheesecake, trail mix, brownies, popping bobba, syrups, and more. If you can’t let yourself go, you can always choose a nonfat yogurt and top it with one of their fresh fruits.

This was the worst frozen yogurt place I’ve ever went to. I came here with my co worker on a hot day. They didn’t have good Flavors and all of the toppings looked bad.
The chocolate section was all melted, the bananas were turning black cause of the heat. It seemed like their a/​c cooling unit wasn’t working and they were using a fan to cool down their toppings. Yuck!
This place was also hard to find. I wouldn’t be coming back here at all. You guys need to update your appliances.

This fro yo shop just lost 4 more customers for good unfortunately. We came in at 10:40pm on a Friday night after having dinner across the street and seeing on Unilocal that they were open until 11pm. We hurried over, walked in, and the chairs were all stacked on top of the tables already, and the person at the register was counting money and said they were closed. I said, «Aren’t you open until 11?» (I mean it could have been a mistake on Unilocal,that happens sometimes). She replied yes. I told her that it was 10:40. She just repeated that they were closed and half-​heartedly yelled to the back asking another employee if the machines were already off and that maybe they can turn them back on. Uh, no thanks, because I know that those machines take time to mix/​freeze the yogurt just right (I’ve pretty much lived, eaten and breathed frozen yogurt for about 2 decades, and fro yo is even listed on my Unilocal profile as my «Last Meal on Earth»). Plus, we were already disappointed and a bit annoyed by that point.
I also agree with other Unilocalers that it’s not a very inviting place inside. Kind of a cluttery, unkempt little shop. Too bad. The Tutti Frutti shops I used to go to in Honolulu and Marina del Rey/​Venice before moving here were so great, I thought this one would be as well.

Good selection of yogurt flavors, the fruits were not the freshest, however overall I’m giving it 3.5 stars because I do like the flavors and different topping selections.

First time trying this place out since how many years it’s been open in the area?! Whenever I do frozen yogurt, my go-​to flavor is always Taro. So when I realized this place has it, I was super excited! This is probably why I don’t do Pinkberry too often, because they don’t carry Taro.
But anyway, now I’m super happy to know there’s a yogurt place in town carrying my flavor!

Tutti Frutti is a great place to go for some ice cream. And although there are tons of places just as good as this place, Ben and Jerrys, Froyo, Yogurtland, and etc., Tutti Frutti is unique in its own right. The one by downtown Sunnyvale is clean, and the varieties of selection is awesome. Not to mention, you’re in the heart of Sunnyvale so there are tons of other places to explore. So after a fun day of exploring, I suggest to stop by Tutti Frutti and indulge on some yogurt ice cream, fill it our with tons of toppings to choose from, and sit down and relax outside and just watch life happens!
Indulged on-​I loved their Taro and Pistachio flavored ice cream and I topped them with mochi, graham crackers, m&m’s, and mini sorts of peanuts!!!

I will definitely go back. It was very good and they have a LOT of toppings.

Reasonably priced, but it is easily the worst frozen yogurt I’ve ever had.
My order: A small cup of vanilla frozen yogurt with peanut butter cup, Cookie Crisp cereal, and graham cracker crumb toppings. The froyo itself was pretty bad, as it started to melt not that long after I sat down to eat it. The texture of the froyo was closer to a Slurpee, and not smooth and creamy like the froyo you can get at Yogurtland and Pinkberry. Also, why is the vanilla froyo a yellowish color? I’ve never seen that before… Regarding the toppings: The peanut butter cups were more like peanut butter boulders, in that each chunk of chocolate was basically molded into a circular shape that was way too big to be a frozen treat topping. The Cookie Crisp cereal was okay. The graham cracker crumbs, aka graham cracker dust, was grounded down too much, and didn’t add much flavor or texture to the froyo.
While I had no problems with the customer service and the cleanliness of the store, the froyo quality is way too low for me to ever go back.

Went there for a post lunch snack on Tuesday and there was someone inside. The door was shut and it was 17 mins past noon and the place still wasn’t open.
They lost at least 3 customers because he wouldn’t even open the door after we knocked and waited.

A couple friends and I dropped in here.
There was a bit of a funny smell and the space was kinda grungy. To top it off, the service was passable, nothing notable to make the place shine.
I and a friend tried the tart which was good, but I don’t have the taste for fro yo much anymore and it just didn’t seem as awesome as I remembered.
Frankly, I probably won’t return to this location.

What was up with the consistency of the froyo? I’ve never seen anything like that…

Ohhhhh. I’ve been hearing about this Tutti Frutti. As a franchise, I’ve seen the good, bad, and ugly of Tutti Frutti’s around the nation. okay maybe CA and Miami mostly.
While Downtown Sunnyvale is a bit of a bore, we were searching for a donut shop (yes, no joke) and I noticed Tutti Frutti and had to stop in.
Sample cups: You can ask for them.
Flavors: Cool flavor choices — Yacult (yep like the Asian drink), caramel pretzel, cake batter, and a couple fruity flavors! Also, there was one low sugar flavor!
Toppings: Cool array! Full cookies, big olé slices of red velvet cake, the usual candies, cereal, wafer cookies. Plus, everything is nicely labeled!
Atmosphere: Yucky… it didn’t smell too nice in the shop. There are a few tables outside and uncomfortable chairs. Not really a place to hang out… more dine and dash!
While both the flavors and toppings are interesting, this is not a fun place to hangout. Just not. If you are a yogurt friend that seeks interesting flavors and toppings, then this is your spot. If you want an atmosphere for late night yogurt, then it is a not!*

Tutti Frutti has never been my favorite Frozen Yogurt but then it’s not the least favorite either. It’s one of those places that’s alright if there’s no other options available which was the case with this location following Saturday Lunch with Denise.
This location has 12 self serve flavors at 40 something cents an ounce, I didn’t get the exact price.
The toppings section is better here than any other TF location I’ve been to and they even had a whole slice of Red Velvet Cake (of the Costco kind) for you to add as a topping (
). As well as whole Lady Fingers, Oreo’s, Brownies and Cinnamon Rolls. Very interesting!
After already have a large meal I was just looking for a small treat, nothing too heavy and was delighted to find the Strawberry Lemonade Sorbet which topped with my usual Mochi balls was perfect to enjoy on the outdoor seating. I also tried the Pina Colada which to my surprise goes very well with the Strawberry Lemonade (
).
The sweet /​tart was balanced really well and was so refreshing on the 80+ degree afternoon while I was sitting there in Jeans (I blame the weatherman, he said it was going to be cold and rainy! lol).
Aside from the many toppings there are also Waffle bowls for $ 1 and over a dozen different sauces. Sample cups are given if you ask and the young girl serving was really friendly. Board games can also be found on the counter near the cash register.
