If you have a need for any of the services that Sunnyvale Imaging Center provides, look no more. Compared to other places I have been – many years ago – , this place is hands down the best place! :). First of all, the staff is super friendly and professional. As other people have pointed out in their reviews, I am SUPER impressed with the cleanliness and pristine condition of the facility. The service is rapid. I highly recommend Sunnyvale Imaging Center. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I love the small office feel as well as the cleanliness of the whole facility. my doctor had access to a report as well as clear images online the next day!!! I have visited Sunnyvale Imaging several times. Each of my experiences there have been wonderful. The facility is clean, and organized. The staff is professional and friendly. Suad, their MRI tech, was kind and patient with me. At each of my appointments, he explained the procedure and what I should expect for each scan. I’m severely claustrophobic and I felt comfortable and like I was in good hands. I was pleased with every aspect of my visit each time I was there. And I most certainly refer all my friends and family to Sunnyvale Imaging for their imaging needs. They are the only imaging facility that I have complete faith in!

If I could give it .5 stars I would. After calling me that morning and asking me to come in earlier than my scheduled appointment, I had to wait 45 minutes before anyone had me even change. They explained that their cancelled appointment showed up late but refused to have me go first. What a disappointment.

Slow and clumsy. Took an X-​ray there yesterday. First of all, they kept me waiting for 30 minutes trying to find my doctor’s order, and eventually having ask the clinic to resend it. This is while over the phone they had told me that they have received it. 24 hours later, the result is not ready yet. And i have called them twice, and was put on hold for a few minutes. This is while they told me my results would ready the morning after the X-​ray is taken. Come on, it’s just an X-​ray. Why does it take so long to interpret a simple x-​ray?

They do a good job but it takes a rather long time. Annoying TV and loud music does not help.
I needed X-​Ray. I was send here by my doctor because it was supposed to be quick visit. First time I came technician was not there. When I came second time I had to wait more than an hour. And taking the image took only 10 minutes.

Taken to Collection but Never Billed for Services Rendered
5 years ago I had an MRI done at this facility.
My insurance, Cigna paid regularly as usual.
I received notification from Cigna that the $ 2100 bill was processed and paid and my portion of the bill was $ 630.
I was never billed by the Sunnyvale Imaging Center but I received notice from a collection agency, 5 years later, that they are demanding $ 3100 to settle the Sunnyvale Imaging center claim. The Sunnyvale imaging center was paid from Cigna their portion but they decided, I guess, to send the whole bill to collection. I was totally in the dark to these goings on. I was more than willing to pay my portion of the bill, but Sunnyvale imaging center said they no longer have the account as they turned it all over to the collection agency, which is demanding the original total bill plus $ 900 in interest.
I have forwarded my original Cigna EOB to the collection.
I already paid my portion of course, but to the collection agency.
I spoke with Vanessa, their billing MGR, she confirmed to me that the bill was never sent, because of short staff, and that I am not the only one.
She was rude and, guess what, upset with me because I was trying to resolve this very serious issue.
I already informed channel 7 news, to investigate this company and I reported this issue to the BBB.

We should be informed beforehand if the technician is a male for bone density test although he is polite. Were told the result would be sent over to the doctor office next day but in fact it took 2 days. Overall a very neat setting and convenient parking at the back of this cottage house.

Let’s talk about privacy issues and scamming patients.
I’ve been to this center more than once. Other than terrible misuse of waiting area space and timeliness, the staff usually puts me at ease and the facilities are clean, new and otherwise fine.
However, this time the guy taking my xrays tried to pitch me a supplement he was selling and used my information sheet to point out how he has my contact information. He even pointed to my address and asked to come to my house to deliver such supplement samples and tell me more.
In addition to the obvious HIPPA and privacy concerns, this last bit was simply creepy. I try to be as polite as possible but this guy seems to be making money off of Sunnyvale Imaging’s clientele.
I told my referring doctor about what happened and was told it was illegal for him to use my information like he did. However, this morning he called my house.
If you go here, be really careful with your information. I still am trying to fihure out how to report this guy. I wonder if the rest of the office even knows what he is up to.

I called this place for an MRI appointment and gave my insurance details. However these guys took a long time of about 2 days to talk to my insurance and get the confirmation which delayed my appointment by 1 day.
The technician doing the MRI is good but the staff is really bad. They are very bad on the phone and respond to everything with «We are sorry Sir, unfortunately this cannot be done». They will repeat this statement so many time that you get tired of listening to it and give up.
I got the MRI done for lumbar as well as Thoracic region and they could not give me the CD’s for both. They only gave me the CD for lumbar and asked me to get the other CD from my doctor as they have send it to them.
However when I went to the doctor she had only no report or CD received. Due to which I had to go back home and fetch my copies to the doctor to see them.
I will not recommend this place to anyone unless he/​she is very needy.

I went in but this place is very clean and professional. They made me feel very comfortable and the price was great. If you have to have an MRI, which can be a tedious experience, this is the place to go. Dr Karimi was great, the facility is totally state of the art, and they are very accommodating.
If I had to have another MRI this is definitely the place I would go.
I would go back again.

Awesome facility. Cannot beat the incredible customer service. Very involved onsite owner. Would not go anywhere else. From the front desk, to the technicians, to the billing. Everyone terrific. No hold times like at El Camino Hospital, no appt messups like at El Camino Hospital. No big corporate giant to deal with. Very personal. Sunnyvale Imaging really cares.

Very clean, comfortable, and beautiful ambiance. I especially loved the waterfall behind the receptionist. With an appointment, signing in and taking the necessary x-​rays, everything was completed within 40 minutes — not bad for a medical facility. I recommend this venue for your necessary x-​rays.

I don’t generally write reviews, but I was expecting a very long and unpleasant experiences after reading the reviews. My experience was drastically different from the other reviews. I had never had an MRI, and wasn’t looking forward to any added hassle and delay the reviewers described.
Not only did I get in and out very quickly, the experience was fine.
I had heard about the loud noises coming from the closed MRI equipment, but found it was no big deal. I could definitely hear the sounds the machine makes, but could easily hear the classical music being pumped through the headset.
I’m glad I didn’t ask my doctor to set up a different location as I can’t imagine it going any smoother.

The person who did the MRI of my shoulder was very professional. However, the rest of the visit left me a bit baffled.
I had an appointment for 3:15 pm, but I was not asked into the back area to change into my gown until after 4pm.
After changing, I sat in a chair outside the dressing room, thinking someone would tell me what I should do next. The receptionist came back and led me to a second waiting room about 15 feet from the chair I had been sitting in. There were three people in this waiting room.
After about 15 minutes, the receptionist came back and led me back to the chair next to the dressing room. «I didn’t want you to feel uncomfortable near all those people,» she said by way of explanation. I’m not sure what would have made me uncomfortable, but OK.
Then, 10 minutes later, a gentleman came to see me, apologized for the wait, gave me a Starbucks card to thank me for my patience, and explained they had had a lot of walk ins that needed to use the open MRI, hence the wait. This didn’t make sense to me either, as my MRI was not open. Then he led me back to the second waiting area, where there was only one person, and where again I did not feel uncomfortable.
I would say in all it was slightly more than an hour before I got my MRI done. The MRI technician was very polite and skilled. Still, I’m not sure I would come back here again. My physician recommended the place, but if he referred me again I would explain the problem and ask for another option.

Visit was ok, but I was promised that my results will be transferred to my doctor as soon as it’s ready. Three days later, a day before my next appointment with my doctor, they called me saying that their delivery guy decided that my doctor is too far away. My doctor is with Stanford, so this excuse is ridiculous. So I had to leave work and rush to their office to pick up my CD. Will not go back to this place and will not recommend this place to anyone.

Great facility to refer my patients to and know that they will receive the highest quality of care and customer service. I have also been a patient myself at this facility and have seen their 5 star quality in action. Always on time and great communication with the info I need regarding my own info and my patients!

I went to this facility on recommendation from my doctor and also from friends who had been there before. I was able to schedule around my work hours which was nice because I have a lot of longs hours at times. I got an early morning appointment and the scheduling for a convenient time, was handled very quickly and efficiently. I was able to get in within a week, which I thought was pretty good. Once there, I handled my paperwork and was put in the scanner and was given headphones and asked what kinds of music I liked. I had never had an MRI before so I didn’t know what to expect. The tech explained the process, how much time it would take and to lie very still. I laid down, listened to some very nice jazz tunes and the whole thing was over in about 45 minutes. Overall, a very pleasant experience. My doctor commented on the scan quality on my followup visit and I felt it to be a wonderful experience with some good results.

NEVER use this place.
They used to be good… then they changed management or ?
I had 2 MRI’s 3 month apart and it was literally an ALL new place. The new people are awful!
The cant even manage to get a simple appointment correct. The front office person was actually argumentative with me about an appointment she made. Seems she did the very same thing to someone else who was waiting to as well. MUST be the patients fault, eh? (no)
Billing: They charged my credit card TWICE for the appointment. When I called them about it instead of refunding the over charge — they charged my card again.
Now I need to work with my credit card company to stop two of the payments. Good lord…
This place is a joke. With so much competition out there — do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. It’s truly not worth the WORK to give them business.

Let me start by saying that I never had a chance to actually visit this place. When I was referred here for X-​Rays by my doctor, Sunnyvale Imaging called me and left a voicemail asking me to call back to book an appointment, however the message cut in and out — no one’s fault really, but I couldn’t tell the name of who called me.
So, I called them back and proceeded to be put on hold 6 times, talked to 5 different people and was on hold for a total of 20 minutes… all to simply book an appointment. Every person who picked up asked who it was that called me, and I kept saying that I wasn’t sure as the message cut in and out. So each of them put me on hold to go get my file, then 3 – 5 minutes later a different person would answer and say «This is _​_​_​, what can I help you with?» starting the sequence all over again.
The 6^th and final person to pick up was Manny, and I tried to be as polite as possible at this point, but I told him that he was the 6^th person to answer and ask me that, but no one has yet actually to help me. He didn’t say a word. That’s when I decided that if they’re not competent enough to answer the phone and book an appointment, I’d rather not try my luck with anything else. I told him «thanks, but I think I’m going to go elsewhere.» He just said «ok, bye» and hung up.
Completely disorganized and unprofessional, at least their front desk is… again I never got the chance to go thru with an actual appointment.
They most definitely need to get a better booking system down. Also, if it really matters that much *who* called me, than find a better way of filing that too.
