Shell Gas Station

I came here to get gas so that I can drive home to visit my parents. I felt thirsty so I went inside and grabbed me a soda that cost $ 1.99 so I gave the lady a $ 20. My EXACT change is supposed to be $ 18.01 but she only gave me $ 18 back. I had to tell her, «Shouldn’t it be $ 18.01?» then that’s when she said «Oh you wanted the one cent?» and that’s when she gave me the penny back.
First of all, I don’t mean to sound petty over a lousy penny since that doesn’t worth anything. BUT it’s the PRINCIPLE that I want to point out. Hey, I work hard to earn my money and I don’t like to get cheated out on anything in general. If I didn’t want that penny, I would’ve said something like «Don’t worry, you can keep the penny.» like most people would anyways.
Secondly, I felt as if the lady is trying to cheat my money and that is NOT honest business. I wouldn’t want to go to any place that won’t do honest business and try to con my money. I’m in no means of ruining their reputation, but only simply speaking the truth. I don’t like being lied to nor do I like to lie or cheat other people especially when it comes to money, which is an extremely sensitive topic.
And lastly, SHE DID NOT EVEN APOLOGIZE FOR HER MISTAKE!!! What’s worse is that there was a man behind the small cramped up register AND HE DID NOT SAY ANYTHING AT ALL. They were constantly staring out the windows and oversee the customers pumping gas and think as if I’m invisible.
Customer service is horrible!!! Out of all the Shell gas stations I’ve been to, the very least is that the gas attendant would be nice enough to help even if they’re having a bad day. After this experience, I WILL NEVER come back to this place to get gas again even if it’s close to my house!

Run of the mill gas station. Well lit. Small shop.
I’d normally give this a three rating, but of the 8+ pumps, the first two I chose were not available, because the displays on both pumps stated they were updating content.
I left and went to Chevron down a few blocks. No issues there. I think I know where to go next time.

Lots of lights, you won’t get lost for sure and you will feel safe at night… but do not go there for a restroom stop as they don’t have (or I could not find). Conveniently located close to freeway. Prices are ok for a Shell station, as they tend to be more expensive.

No restroom? You call that service? Not doing this again.

Great service. The worker helped me put engine oil in my engine and helped me inflate my tires. NICE and HELPFULL worker and A LOT of VARTIETY in the foodmart also! I never had a Unilocal account but specially made one for the station because they way they treated me was wounderfull like no other. And also provided me free direction and advise!
Oh Yeah and its great quailty gas SHELL GAS!
