Seventh-Day Adventist Church

Very friendly people and typically down to earth and useful messages. I highly recommend this church. They meet on Sabbath, Saturday, the biblical designated day of worship. Research it yourself and you will see. I will be back next week.

My wife and I love visiting Silicon Valley partly because of this church’s Open Door service. It reminds us a lot of the best parts of our home church: open, friendly, not stuffy, relevant.
So if you live in the area and you’re looking for a home church, give it a try this Saturday! Also, if you are seeking deeper meaning and fulfillment in your life, learn more about a God who would do anything to have a relationship with you.

One of the crummiest things about deleting your profile from this site is that you forget about the reviews that mattered.
My favorite pastor, the one that baptized me, has left the building. Of all the people who happened to read my original review, not only had he found it online, he read parts of it as part of his last sermon. A sermon I had missed, like many before it.
Hearing he was leaving, I got to see him at a Sabbath before he left. Right upon seeing me he quickly grabbed my hand and led me inside, giving me a big hug and a smile, and we listened to a part of the sermon by the newbie together before I sat down at one of the pews.
And that is the thing that made this church so comforting. No wagging fingers, raised eyebrows, or frowning looks, just JOY. No matter where you came from, or how long it’s been, it never matters, what matters is that you’re here now.
Having moved over 18 times in the past 9 years, there is no place that has felt so much like «home» as here. That place that stays steady, comforting and true, while everything else around you changes and moves.
I thought perhaps with him leaving that the feelings would change. But no, it’s still there, brighter than ever. Some people preach about love, some people talk about love, but here, you FEEL it. This place is definitely my home in Christ, forever and always.
I’ve also posted the parts of my original review that Pastor Sam had saved as the «original review» below. Because even though it was over two years ago, absolutely nothing has changed.

This Church is the best! Sam McKee is young, hip and in tune with the world, especially with the Bay Area! Joe Strock, is the musical genius behind this wonderful Pastoral staff! Come try this place out!
