Welcome to Ralston Pediatric Dentistry! Our office is designed to provide a positive and informative dental experience for our patients and their families. We aim to educate patients and parents of the importance of preventive dentistry and early detection of caries. We are here to encourage parent and child participation in their oral health and help remove the anxiety that is often associated with dentistry. Caring for children, special needs patients, and adolescents is our passion.

History

Established in 1975.

We carry on the tradition of excellent dental care for children, young adults and special needs patients inherited from Dr. James Smyrak. After transitioning into Dr. Smyrak’s office in 2008, Dr. Savannah Kim has brought new technology and energy into the practice and is now expanding her practice to the South Bay in order to provide a more convenient location for her many patients as well as to reach more people who are seeking excellent, second-​to-​none dental care for their beloved children. The brand new Sunnyvale office is located in the Kifer Commerce Park very close to the Sunnyvale Costco and neighbored by other dental specialists.

As both a specialist in pediatric dentistry and a devoted parent of two young girls, it is extremely important for me to make sure that my patients and their parents have a positive and informative dental experience.

My team members and I are here to provide your children with the gentle care that they deserve as if they were our own. We have a special love for both children and dentistry, helping to put your child at ease in a caring, fun and safe environment during their dental care. We will help teach your children the proper way to take care of their teeth; but just as importantly, they will learn that going to the dentist can be fun.
