Unbelievable where customer service is going these days! May the postage rate changed. We have a Pitney Bowes account, machine’s dated but it’s theirs. They need to send out a new chip for it when the rates change; given that we have had this account forever one might believe (especially given that they’re head quartered in CT) that they’d automatically send out all of what was required for the change over, not so.
I called to be told I had to order this chip.
Now, July, our machine is outdated and they’ve refused to put postage on it, and we have a mailing which needs to go out along with all the payments we make each Monday. I have $ 7.67 (Yup, seven dollars and seventy-​six cents.) This isn’t going to cut it. This IKEA mentality where we’re «nickel-​ed and dimed» and having to remember all the components we might need, from even specialty companies we hire (i.e.Pitney Bowes) to aid us in managing postage. I’d rather risk my money with the post office directly. Very, very poor service. How we’re all settling for shoddiness is beyond me.
Please take a customer service course from Nordstrom on how to win and maintain good customer relations.

Unbelievably bad. Their machines suck. They say «I’m sorry it broke» and offer to send a new one. Three broke in one month. Once the electronics jam in any way, a new machine is needed. In the meantime, they have my money pre-​paid in postage. on each machine. And an hour wasted on the phone with the technical department trying to fix the problem. Skip the hardware with these guys and go with stamps.

I love my new Pitney Bowes mail machine! When I need to check funds or add postage, I can simply plug the machine into the fax line and I am connected to the network. I can add as much postage as I need by pressing a button. I can even print reports, and can customize presets. When an update is required, I just plug it in to the fax line and the updates take place within minutes.
It’s so user friendly and and convenient! I’m really loving the built in scale. No more looking up zones! I have always received friendly service when calling to place an order. The reps are genuinely happy to answer questions, and have all been very knowledgeable about products.
