In addition, with my income solely 100% commission, it made the situation that much more complex. But Kimie came through like a champ; from beginning to end, she demonstrated why all the high reviews she got from here are legit. she walked you through every steps & explained all the process as clear as possible. Kimie IS the best! We had a complicated transaction, but Kimie was with us every step of the way. Kimie is the BEST!
For the original loan on our new house, we went directly with BofA, mainly because they had offered us a great rate, but we had also gone in expecting that a large bank would be «on top of things». Well, they weren’t, and in exchange for those savings, I swear we lost at least a few years off of our lives!!! (examples: slow responses at best, although mainly no responses, being asked for documentation on where certain deposits came from, when a) we had already provided it multiple times, and b) it came from the transfer from one BofA account to another BofA account!, and when calling to follow up on things since our escrow period was about to end, being told in an agitated way, «I get 200 emails a day!»)
For our Refi, we decided to go with Kimie, and the experience was completely opposite of our experience with BofA!
* She is super RESPONSIVE: During the whole process, I don’t think we ever had to wait more than 1 hour for a response!
* She is SMART and PATIENT and PUTS CUSTOMERS FIRST: After we had already given her the go ahead to lock in a particular rate, she kept watching the market in anticipation that the rate was going to go down. She was right — she ended up helping us shave 0.15% off of our loan! It would have been much easier for her to just go ahead and lock in the loan at the higher rate, but this is just one testament to how much she truly cares about her customers!
* She TAKES CARE OF EVERYTHING: We ran into a few issues during the process (because of outside factors of our existing loan, through no fault of Kimie’s), and Kimie was great at handling everything for us. She would constantly follow up with people that we otherwise would have had to call ourselves, saving us both time and stress.
* She is FLEXIBLE: She keeps you posted on her schedule, and will go out of her way to meet you when and where it is most convenient for you.
* She was great at KEEPING US UPDATED: Half of our stress from our original loan came from never hearing from our loan agent, and wondering if anyone was working on our case (they weren’t). Kimie made sure to keep us constantly posted every step of the way!
* She is a great TRANSLATOR: If you’ve every been frustrated with trying to understand the loan process, terminology, etc, then you can understand why this is so important. Kimie was such a great point of contact, that whenever we didn’t understand something, we would just say, «let’s just ask Kimie!» and she would be so quick to respond, and would explain everything in a way that was easy to understand!
Our experience with Kimie was so unbelievably painless and refreshing… almost makes me want to go through another Refi! ;)

Kimie is the first mortgage broker who we actually really enjoyed working with. We have worked with at least 4 other mortgage brokers in the past and all the others had been disappointing. On the other hand, Kimie was intelligent, very organized, quick in getting back to us with answers to any questions, and she was quite good at letting us know what was happening with our re-​financing. Kimie is an out and out professional who gets my absolute highest recommendation. She was recommended to us by a friend who’ve used her to finance and refinance a number of times.
Our circumstances were not standard — new to the US, with limited credit history and no green card (still on L1 visa). We had no luck dealing directly with banks or with other agents, but Kimie worked with us to explore a number of different avenues to get financing and was always honest and upfront about the options available. She eventually secured us a loan for the value we wanted at a very competitive interest rate.
