Dr. Iyad Bakdach grew up in the Los Angeles area and graduated from California State University in Northridge receiving his B.S. in Biology. He attended dental school at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. Dr. Bakdach has an excellent chairside manner always putting his patient’s comfort first. The one aspect of dentistry he enjoys the most is cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Bakdach is fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Bakdach enjoys spending time with his family, exploring new restaurants, and all genres of music.

Dr. Iyad is a great dentist. I first went to him about a year ago when one of my teeth was killing me. It required a root canal, but the Dr. did a great job. I have had no pain there since. He has also performed a few fillings and several cleanings for me.
He is super friendly, and always in a great mood. My wife now goes to him and my 6 year old son also started vising him. His medical assistants are also great.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Iyaad for more than a year now. I believe we found him on Unilocal!We love the fact that they work on Saturday and works for our schedules. They are also conveniently located right behind the Safeway.
The staff is professional and yet very friendly and accommodating. My husband also recently got Invisalign with him and so far is happy with the results.

I’ve had a bunch of dental work done by Dr. B in the last 4 months (4 very old fillings replaced with crowns). No fun — lots of drilling. Dr. B is very gentle and focuses on making his patients comfortable — bottom line he makes the experience as low stress as possible. He also answers my questions carefully and completely in a way that gives me confidence in his skill as a dentist. And I’ve had no problems with the work he did on my teeth. I highly recommend him.

I’ve been going to Dr. Bakdach for over 7 years. I actually followed him when he changed offices because I didn’t feel comfortable with anyone else working on my teeth. I actually live in the East Bay (found him when I was working in Mountain View) but make the trek every 6 months to see him. Here are few reasons why:
1) Literally the best dentist I’ve been to. He has a great personality, is incredibly skilled and surrounds himself with a very attentive team.
2) I’ve had one cavity in my life. My previous dentist gave me a silver filling that was way too big and actually began cracking my tooth. I kept the filling for several years until meeting Dr. B. I was really afraid I was going need a root canal but he was able to give me a porcelain filling and save my tooth (it was that bad). I’ve had zero issues with that tooth since coming to him.
3) He’s conservative in his work. The scariest thing is going to a dentist that wants to treat your mouth as a science project.
4) He doesn’t constantly upsell me on teeth whitening or Invisalign. Other dentists I’ve been to were shameless in promoting both of these.
5) He really pays attention when you have a concern about your teeth and is completely hands-​on explaining any procedures.
I’ve told everyone I know, if they’re looking for a dentist, they should definitely try out Dr. Bakdach.

Dr B has been my dentist since 2008, first at a location in Mountain View and now at his own practice in Sunnyvale. There aren’t enough good things I can say about him, from his persistent attention to detail in his work to his professionalism as well as charismatic demeanor all qualities one would expect from a medical professional with high standards. Dr B is incredibly personable making you feel like you’re his only patient and also making you feel at ease in what for some can be a very intimidating experience.
I am very happy with the results of his work and the the way my teeth look and feel. I smile with confidence and free of discomfort when eating. I’ll say to anyone that is hesitant about seeing a dentist to visit Dr B whose friendly staff will greet you warmly and ease your concerns and upon meeting Dr. B you’ll wonder why you hadn’t seen him sooner.

Great place to do all your dental needs. My 4 daughters, my wife & I had a wonderful experience. I know it is hard to believe to have «dentist» & «wonderful» in the same sentence, but trust me it is so. The office has a relaxing environment and all up to date equipment. Dr Bakdach has a great personality and my kids loved him.
Finally we have a dentist we love and trust. Please do not hesitate to call him, I can’t stress enough how great my experience was. I’m 50 and I’ve been to a lot of dentist through my life and this one is #1 in my book.

Great! Wonderful! I wholeheartedly and without hesitation recommend Dr B (Bakdach)
Everyone was professional, courteous, engaging, very attentive — essentially all the positive attributes one would want in any professional services provider. And this occurs every visit, not just the initial visit.
The dental professionals appear to be experts in their field. Made me feel at ease and fun to be at the dentist.
I did not receive pressure to purchase any treatment, and cannot stress this point enough. I received a treatment plan, and conducted due diligence sufficient to confirm that the cost estimates were what my insurance covers. The doctor and I conducted a cost benefit and risk analysis, and I decided what was best. Once I decided, the doctor did not pressure me to change my mind. He focused his attention to crafting a plan that met my stated wishes. I was not priced gouged.
Most importantly is the personal attention to my treatment plan. Dr. B did not delegate the duty of explaining the proposed treatment to a staff member (which would have been OK because I trust the staff member). Dr. B devoted the time personally to communicate the plan, and did not rush through the communications.
Every dental visit I have with Dr B I can say its pleasant. I have recommend him to my family and friends.
