Specialties

Hoolala is a the best of East meets West with an authentic Korean fried chicken atmosphere paired with local and craft beers– only the best!

History

Established in 2015.

Hoolala was officially opened for business in August of 2015 on the historic Murphy Avenue in Downtown Sunnyvale. Mr. Choi is the man bringing South Korea’s Hoolala franchise into the USA for the first time. With an uncompromising standard for quality, Mr. Choi is taking fried chicken to the next level by never working with frozen chicken, only using fresh ingredients, sourcing the best beers on the market, and training a hard-working and friendly staff!

Even though this may be his first restaurant experience, he has always been known in the community as the maven of what tastes good and where to eat. Mr. Choi has a huge heart for his customers and is doing his best to cater to all the patrons that come through the doors at Hoolala.

Hoolala was founded in South Korea by Byeong Gahp Kim () in 1997 and can be found in several different countries. This particular store in Sunnyvale is the first one in the USA.
