Specialties
Welcome to Ginger Café, a family-run restaurant specializing in Chinese cuisine with Southeast Asian influences.
Ginger Café’s distinct style of cooking has its roots in history. Years of migration by ethnic Chinese brought their food into various corners of the globe, where it mingled with local ingredients, predilections, and cooking techniques. As Chinese immigrants moved ever westward, their cuisine acquired a distinct personality. While Ginger Café’s menu is rooted in the Chinese culinary tradition, it is broadened, flavored, and inspired by its «travels» through the Southeast Asia regions. And of course, being in California, its hard to ignore the bounty of fresh ingredients that is grown nearby, so you will notice a strong affinity for seasonality.
History
Established in 2007.
After the success of Tuyen’s first Ginger Café located at Gilroy Premium Outlet, he was anxious to build a second Ginger Café with the same proven working concept, a menu with dishes involved in a high quality ingredients, good knowledge of food preparation and cooking technique, focusing on the cuisine that he familiar and grown up with: the Chinese Cuisine with Southeast Asian influences. Except this time, he had the help from his diverse cultural and professional background kitchen and management crew.
