We specialize in low water-​use plants, native plant species, year-​round flowers and foliage interest, and ultra-​efficient irrigation systems. The incorporation of natural elements such as woodwork, rock walls,

boulders, and water features provide the client with a warm and natural feeling that is unique to every site.

We have over twenty years experience in the industry, and work in everything from small residential scale to large estates and properties.

Our designs are custom– tailored to the needs and goals of the individual client, so each job is unique and original.

History

Established in 2008.

We started as a small maintenance company, and have progressed to becopme a C-​27 licensed landscape contractor.

Recently I have completed the Landscape Architecture Certificate Program at UC Berkeley Extension, and will be pursuing my landscape architecture license in the coming year.

Graduate of UC Santa Cruz– 1992;

Formed Deep Roots Gardening 1993 – 99;

Worked as project manager and quality director for another landscape contractor 1999 – 2007;

Began Deep Roots Landscape Construction and Design in 2008 after passing the contractor licensing exam;

Completed the UC Berkeley Extension Landscape Architecture Certificate Program in 2010.
