History

Established in 1983.

I have been teaching private drum instruction/​music lessons, in the same music studio, for 28 years. I have also worked with the drum line and the marching bands at Gunn High School, St. Francis, Los Altos High and Block Middle School. My students range in age from as young as 4 to 70 years old. I tailor my instruction to the student’s level and interest, but focus on theory and reading with all levels. In addition to teaching drums, I have been actively playing with local Bay Area bands for over 30 years.

Business Owner

Craig has been playing drums since the age of 11. He studied with Dave Garibaldi and Steve Smith. Early on he realized music was his passion and opened CB Drum Instruction in 1983. Over the years he has taught students of all levels and continues to be inspired by seeing his students learn and grow as musicians. Craig still actively plays music himself and has opened for Patti LaBelle and played for many years in a band with Tommy Castro.
