Boost Up Kids Academy

The Kids are treated well but the owner is completely unreliable and goes back on her word, does not communicate properly and pretends she does not remember or does not know. This place could really bump up the professionalism

Had an appt at 830am with a Ms K (respectfully, I won’t type her full name) to potentially enroll my son. But its now 853am — im a little skeptical and slightly irritated… but my kid seems to be enjoying himself immensely.
When Ms K finally arrived (9am), she offered a «Sorry, no one told me about this.» And that was that, which was okay except that the mannerism in which she said it, made me feel like I was being an inconvenience to her morning routine…
In spite of not receiving a heartfelt apology, the teachers and assistants all seemed very focused on their children and the school seemed to be well run.
During my visit, I watched the children sing a song about the days of the week (3y), play with toys (2y), have fun with outdoor play (4y). The children seemed extremely happy there and all the teachers seemed to be very excited to be there as well.
While not a very large location, Boost Up plans on opening another site by Nov4 2013.
This school is a strong contender.

All meals/​snacks provided at this school are vegetarian.
The teachers do help children potty train or like in my case perfect their potty training.
Borderline 3.5 simply because my appointment was «forgotten/​miscommunicated» with the teaching staff… but because of all the other pros, and because i do understand, sometimes — shit happens… keeping it at a 4

* OK — I just had to up this to a 5 as Miss Bhawna is so flexible with real-​world situations. Could not be happier with this place.
My older child goes to Windsor Preschool Academy (which we also adore). Our daughter, 2.5, was having a really hard time adjusting to a home daycare facility. We moved her to Boost Up only last week (she’s been there a total of 2 weeks) and she’s sooo happy. We drop her off and she goes with a smile. Yesterday she told me Miss Bhawna is nice. We couldn’t be happier as I feel she is in good hands, the facility is large, clean and secure. I’ve lived in Sunnyvale for 5 years now and have driven by there pretty much everyday and am not concerned with the safety as everything is completely enclosed.

When it comes to kids, we get emotional and the only thing we look around is the best…
My daughter is 2 years and 4 months and I was looking for something which shape her foundation to survive in the competitive world and also not to pressurize her childhood. I heard about Boost Up Kids from a friend and then I went to school and met the board and staff of the school, after 1 hour meet decided that this is the place my kid will go… though they insisted me to come 4 – 5 times in live classes then only enroll, I did so and it only strengthen my decision.
Its been almost more then a month now my daughter is going there and I can see the change in her and what I do not have to compromise is her happiness which means the most…
Also I like there Lunches and snacks menu.
