We believe that cleaning carpets and windows not only enhances their appearance, but also contributes to a healthier indoor environment. Our non-​toxic, biodegradable cleaning solutions are completely safe for children and pets, as well as the environment. We also offer other services such as upholstery and area rug cleaning, stone, tile and grout cleaning, water damage emergencies, solar panel cleaning, power/​pressure washing, rain gutter cleaning, and general house cleaning services.

History

Established in 1992.

I started Bay Area Carpet Steamers in 1992 in Los Gatos, CA as a home-​based business. I built the business from the ground up, beginning with a portable carpet-​cleaning unit. I moved to Mountain View, CA in 1994 and began to grow my business, first buying a truck-​mounted system in 1994. I acquired a shop in 2011 and am now located in Mountain View, CA.

My name is Ken Caley and I moved to Mountain View, CA in 1974 from New York. I attended St Francis High School in Mountain View. I have always been a «neat freak» and I enjoy interacting with customers. I believe the keys to life are common sense, dealing with people and always keeping a positive attitude. My greatest reward for a job well done is a happy customer.
