I Came in on a Saturday morning right when they opened for an oil change for my 2013 Honda Fit. I normally do them myself, but my new apartment doesn’t provide a good location, so I was looking for an inexpensive and quick alternative.
Auto Champs is a no-​frills honest auto mechanic. What they lack in fancy waiting rooms they more than make up for in courtesy and quick service. The oil change included airing up the tires, topping off other fluids, interior vacuum, and windshield cleaning. I was told that the tires were showing inside tread wear due to worn shocks, but there were no pushy attempts to sell me on anything beyond what I went in for.
I am extremely happy with my experience. There’s an advertised price plus disposal and fees. I was out the door in less than 20 minutes for $ 32. That’s about what I would spend to do it myself.

Seriously awesome. The team operates like a well-​oiled machine. Honest and helpful. Called four shops and they were cheaper by at least $ 30 for an oil change and tire rotation. In and out in 15 minutes.

I started going to Marcello’s shop 3 years ago from a friend’s recommendation. Since going there I’ve been nothing but pleased. Marcello is as honest as they come. I’ve had to get my car taken care of at another shop because I was out of town once. They other shop quoted me about 3 jobs that needed to get taken care of. When I got back to town I brought my car to Marcello and he took a look. He told me I only needed 1 of the 3 things done. He also quoted me a much lower price for that one job than the other shop. I always TRUST Marcello to steer me in the right direction. He never tries to up sell anything and tells me what really NEEDS to be done. He’ll also tell me how much time/​miles I have left on particular parts. Even if I bring up that another shop said that I should get something taken care of, he’ll tell me if it’s worth taking care of it it now, later or ever.
I would highly recommend Auto Champs to anyone.

I have been going to see Marcello and his team for about 5 years and they are as good as it gets. They are always doing what is in the best interest of me and in return I want to refer them some business!

Just left this place, looks questionable but the guys that work there are friendly and honest. I paid 30 for an oil change including tax and waste and the guy who changed it went over a few things with me and my husband about What needed to be changed he told us how much time each thing had and didn’t try to get us to do these things there and now I didn’t feel pressured to upgrade anything or get new this and that like I do when I go to jiffy I will definitely be coming back in the future

unfortunately, my number one mechanic– brother could not change my oil this time so I had to actually spend my hard earned money. ugh.
Found a spot right near my work, they greeted me with a smile and offered me a coke! I was sold. The guy was fast and even spent a little time showing me issues with my car they can fix.
Needless to say it was cheap for my lexus. only $ 35. Will be coming back ONLY if my brother cant find time for his sister. lol

My usual oil change place was too busy, so I wound up here.
Auto Champ will be my new ‘usual place’.
Fast, friendly and reasonably priced.
They even squeeged the windows and vacuumed the front carpets!

These guys are quick, inexpensive, and friendly. Guy keeps a copy of the dialogue of Plato on the office. I always go here even though I don’t work in the area anymore.
Window wash and interior vacuum are a nice touch.

My favorite place to take my car. I’ve had oil, brakes, transmission changes etc. done to my car here. The most reliable place and truly trust with my vehicle. You come down with worries and bit stressed cuz of car problems but they make you feel better with quick service, reasonable pricing and good customer service. Marcello your awesome dude! I might be moving away but I can honestly say I’m willing to commute whenever I need service again. Thanks guys

Wow! Got a synthetic oil change for $ 65 (reasonable), they got it done in 15 minutes, checked the health of my engine, and a guy washed all of my windows! Awesome service and friendly owner and workers. Found my new oil change spot fit for the Stormtrooper (I drive a pearl IS250).

Quick, easy and affordable. The guys are very friendly and do a great job. The owner is super awesome and very accommodating. I drive all the way from los gatos to get my oil change here. And will keep coming back.

Simply amazing. Drove in at 745 in the morning needing an oil change, but also had an almost flat tire and suspected I may have a blown fuse because my cigarette lighter stopped working. I drove away 20 minutes later for under $ 40. My Highlander is always expensive because of the filter, so I was thrilled. Can’t recommend these guys enough.

First time here today and had a great experience. Reasonable price for an oil change and Marcelo, the owner, even wiped down my windshield and vacuumed my carpets. Seemed like a really nice and honest guy. Will definitely be back.

Its a small 2 garage place. I stood outside instead of the small office. Immediately when I showed up, they took my car and 2 guys went to work immediately. ²⁄₃ of the time they were topping off fluids /​tire pressure and window washing /​vacuuming (they did a great job, too). My only gripe is that the owners hands were black with grease and he didn’t put on any gloves before driving my car into the garage. Although no residue was found. $ 40 flat rate for everything, including the oil & filter. Not bad! And I was in and out in 10 – 15 minutes.
He saw my engine light was on, and offered to diagnose it for free. And then recommended how to fix the issue. I’ll definitely be coming back

Finding a good oil change place is extremely hard. You always get the constant upsell which is annoying. Auto Champs is not like that. The main guy will tell you about service you may need, but it’s very casual mentions with no pressure at all. The service gets done in like 10 minutes!
I usually just wait outside the garage although it looks like there is a small office toward the front. My oil change is $ 30 compared to the $ 50 – 60 other places were charging for my «newer» car with special equipment.
This is very much a straightforward, no frills type place which is fine with me since they seem honest.

Similar to many other reviewers, I came here during lunch for an oil change and they got it done very quickly (~15 min). They spent a lot of time explaining what was good and what is coming up «due.»

They were thorough with the general inspection and clear with the explanation.
…and yes, the window cleaning and interior vacuuming were complimentary.
Keep in mind, they have signs for their $ 19.95 oil change but out the door is $ 27.95 (includes tax + disposal fee)

They weren’t too busy at the time i dropped off my car for an oil change. They actually started immediately after i showed up. Complementarity window washing and interior floor vacuum as well.

I came in to get a quick oil change for my bf’s Lexus RX300. It was quick, it was cheap, and I was out of there in 15 minutes.
They topped off all the fluids, vacuumed the interior, wiped down all the windows and mirrors, and pumped up all the tires.
4.5 stars, a near perfect experience.
I came by with my BMW SUV once to ask how much it was. They quoted me double the price even if I supplied my own filter and oil… Next time my boyfriend came to get an oil change on his car, the owner (his name started with an M) told my bf that he is mehhhhhh about European cars.
Got it. I won’t take my car there, but good for a cheap oil service for others! :)

So let me get this straight, you charge some cars $ 31.99 for an oil change which includes (I assume) conventional oil and common oil filter. But when you don’t need to provide any materials or parts, you end up charging more? I’ve done tons of oil changes on my various cars (325i, 330CI, M3, Pilot, MDX) and the 135i does not require any more work than usual. It’s the same 3 basic steps: drain, replace, refill. I don’t know if he feels like he can charge more based on the car’s make or that BMW owners are used to paying more. The math just doesn’t add up. Sorry Marcello, you may be a nice guy in real life according to other reviewers but I will not be bringing my car to you anytime soon if I have no trust in your math or logic.
