Super disappointed. Came with my husband for pedi. My husband(a recent macho man convert to the pedi experience) has a job that requires him to be quite active on his feet. So as a treat, I thought it would be fun to get pedis together. Make a long story short — his pedi was lacking. Even tho we asked for the same regular pedi(me with nail color, him obviously without), he got like a 2 mins scrub down and cuticle clipping — and out the chair he went. While I got the hot wax on the heels, his pedi technician was in a mad rush to get him out of the chair. No hot wax for him. Yes, I’m the grand scheme of life, it’s not a big deal. However it(less than a ten min pedi) certainly felt like a waste of time. Lame.

so i usually go to lotus(which is still amazing) but its far from where i live so i tried to find a nail salon closer to where i live. I found this salon after going into grace’s nails on 52nd street skillman. They had the worst service which i find ridiculous because i knew the owner. Anyways i went to Vivi which was actually closer. They had a variety of different colors to choose from. I only got a pedicure which is what i needed which was done thoroughly and efficiently. They even give you free paraffin which i find fascinating because it would cost an additional $ 15 elsewhere in the city(i would know cause i worked as a receptionist in multiple spas throughout the city). Its been three weeks now and the color has not chipped off ONCE! I am very pleased with my pedicure and it was super inexpensive! Recommend this place to anyone who lives nearby!

It was my first nail salon I tried since moving to Woodside. The place is very small and not fancy. The cost of a mani and pedi is very reasonable and they do a decent job. I found the staff to be very nice and friendly, which is why I give this place four stars.

Went here for a gel manicure and pedicure. I asked for the same color on both my hands and feet and she told me that she couldn’t put the gel polish on my feet unless I paid extra. So I asked her to match a red polish with the red on my hands so they could be uniform. The cost was $ 33 and I gave a $ 7 tip. So $ 40 altogether. My nails didn’t look the same color but I just trusted that she knew what she was doing and didn’t say anything as I was running late. When I got home that evening I realized they were two totally different colors, red on my hands and purple on my toes. I was so disappointed. I went back the next morning and asked her to change the color as I wanted them the same and they wanted to charge me $ 10. I told them I spent $ 40 the previous day and I didn’t get what I wanted and they just laughed. So I left. This is the second time I’ve had a bad job done here. The previous visit I got gel manicure and it was peeling off with four days. It was badly applied and my nails looked like they needed redone again within two days. But I decided to give them another chance as every one has off days. But now I will never go back again. They are money hungry and do not respect loyalty in customers. The man who creepily hangs around watching his laptop on one of the desks seems to be the one in charge. There are lots of great salons on Queens Blvd and I will walk the extra two blocks from now on.

I absolutely adored this place and would go there regularly when I lived in Woodside, NY(haven’t been there in over a year). I would get a mani/pedi for $ 15(if separate: $ 6 mani, $ 12 pedi)!!! Seriously, those prices are crazy cheap! The staff is wonderful and they keep the place clean. Vivian is the best and she’s very sweet. I tried pretty much every nail spot in a 3 mile radius of my apartment and this place won hands down AND it just so happened to be the cheapest. Again, if I wasn’t in Los Angeles now and back in Woodside, I’d still be a loyal customer.

Favorite neighborhood nail salon, nothing fancy, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and doesn’t get too packed.
