Rude, Unprofessional, Don’t Speak English, Terrible Customer Service.
I have never previously had a problem with the shoe repair or the dry cleaning at this store. The shoe repair was even very good. However, the sewing woman they employ and the customer service skills of the young woman who works at the laundry counter are horrific. When I dropped off a sweater with a button to sew on, the tailor hardly listened to me. There was no professional marking of what needed repairing as done at normal functional tailoring stores. When I returned, of course, the button had not been sewn on. Then, the «tailor» lied and said I had asked for a different button to be sewn. As a customer, I don’t appreciate being lied to when someone makes a mistake. I expect a polite apology and a refund. Neither the store nor the tailor apologized for not completing an easy task, sewing on a button. They charged me full price even though I had to wait while the tailor actually completed her job. Both the tailor and the customer service girl hardly spoke any English at all. if someone doesn’t know enough English to apologize for unprofessional and inadequate service, don’t hire them. The customer service here was simply appalling. Other people at this store have been fine, but the female Asian looking tailor and the Hispanic looking short plump lady at the counter are appallingly rude and unprofessional. This is the most unprofessional encounter I have ever had with people working at a dry cleaning store. Don’t use them!!! Only use the shoe repair man.

Talk about being treated like a moron.
Don’t trust the stickers on their door: American Express, or any kind of plastic, is not welcome here. They did increase their prices a few months ago so AmEx after all would make sense but they are still only interested in shiny crispy banknotes that they can easily stash away from prying eyes. And they make it clear to you in the meanest way.
There are hundreds of other places who will take your shirts and iron them. It is not even very hard to do it yourself while you ate watching TV. So, do what I did, move on from this terrible place.

The worst customer service ever!!! They lost something and took them almost a week to find it. When asked why it took so long to find it the guy totally flipped on me that he is busy and when he has time he looks but if he doesn’t have time he’s not looking. Also he pointed at me that I have a problem and that I’m not reasoning; arguing that we had misunderstandings before and pretty much calling me a creasy person… that’s just bad customer service! I asked to speak with the boss… He came but he didn’t said absolutely anything. Not even a word… I really don’t know what to get from this.
I’m going to take my stuff down the block from now on because this is totally unprofessional.

Not sure how but they managed to lose a belt that was attached to a dress. After calling and stopping by they offered no help whatsoever. Avoid these idiots and go next door.

I have walked by this place many times and I thought it was only a dry cleaner. Never noticed it was also a shoe repair store until I needed to get my boots fixed. I was a little apprehensive at first because I was contemplating if it was worth fixing them or not. I am glad I brought them in because he did a great job on them and I have been using him since. I get lifts put on all my shoes or new soles on certain shoes. I think I pay a little more for my shoe repairs because I am impatient and want my boots or shoes back ASAP. I normally want them back within a few hours and I’ll pay him more for it because its worth it to me. I think shoe repair is a dying trade and this guy always does good work for me and he is really nice.
Then I started to use their dry cleaner service and have sent suits, sweaters etc. to get dry cleaned. I make sure to point out any stains or odd dirt marks on the clothes and they always take care of business, plus they are quick and efficient. They are always very friendly and I enjoy coming here.
What makes this dry cleaner different from other dry cleaners in the neighborhood is that they have their own machines. All of their work is done on the premises. Most other dry cleaners in the neighborhood send the clothes out to a dry cleaning place like this place. I have noticed that in the morning they have vans coming in bringing in loads of clothes to get cleaned. I like businesses that can offer a couple of services in one spot and this is definitely the place.

For women, their pricing and efficiency in terms of having your clothes ready for you is competitive and very good. My business wear is always returned in excellent condition and a lot faster than other places I’ve gone to previously…
I’ve also used the shoe repair next door. I usually pay more for quality shoes so it’s important for me to have them repaired by someone who does a good job. This shoe guy knows his stuff and is always friendly whenever I come by to drop by my shoes/​boots for new taps or a cleaning. You don’t find many shoe repair stores anymore, so I’m glad that there’s a one so close to my apartment.

This guy is a crook and a liar. A couple of months ago, I took in a pair of pants to have the hem redone. About six weeks later, the hem had come out again. A hem – probably the single simplest thing in the entire world of tailoring – should last six years (or more), not six weeks. I took the pants back in, not to ask for anything outrageous, just to have the hem done properly and I thought maybe that should be free of charge. This guy takes one look at the hem and says it wasn’t done there. «This is the only dry-​cleaners I have ever been, in the entire time I’ve lived here,» I told him (the truth). «Not us,» he says. He claims they CUT the hem, but didn’t SEW the hem, because it was plastic stitching, not thread. What planet is this guy on? It was two months ago, I think I’d remember having taken these pants somewhere else. I demanded the clothes they had already dry cleaned. Seventeen dollars to clean TWO pairs of pants? Really? Another dry cleaners may be slightly less convenient, but I’m willing to walk an extra block or two. Don’t trust this place with any clothes you care about.

Very expensive for dry cleaning services. I would continue doing business with them but their lack of customer service just drives me away. They are rather quick with my clothes, I don’t see that as a bad thing though.
There is a shoe man as well. My sister has used him but he too is pricey and he didn’t satisfy my sister with his work. I went to him for a bag cleaning which he doesn’t do and to see if he’d stiffen my soft leather boots and that too he wouldn’t do.
I’m taking my business elsewhere. It’s not worth the price and lack of community this business provides.

They don’t do whitening. — They’re virtually useless to me.
I go the extra 4 – 5 blocks to Jenny’s on Greenpoint Avenue. They do an awesome job at getting stains out of my white dress shirts and polos.

Coming to this place was a total accident. And by accident, I mean blessing in disguise.
I originally mistook this cleaners to be New French Cleaners (
), which is actually located one more block down. All of these dry cleaning joints all look alike — small store front, similar color scheme, very warehouse-​like décor, and run by Koreans. I’m not stereotyping, this is how it is in Sunnyside.
My original intent was to pick up an item while giving them a new one. Since this was the wrong place to begin with, I learned the hard way that I just dumped my suit at one place and will now have to go to another to pick up the stuff I was there for in the first place. What a mess.
Thankfully, this place did a good job and for less money. The store looked a lot cleaner than New French and the owner was friendly the whole time. The only thing is they don’t have a computer, which is real inconvenient when having to trace an order by a phone number. Just make sure you don’t lose the receipt.
