Best tacos in town right across from my favorite hangout spot. Love the burittos too after a night or deinking or when craving a quick bite

Great late night tacos, especially like the chorizo ones. Friendly staff and you get a great portion.

These guys are amazing, two brothers out of a truck amazing Mexican food. The burritos, soft tacos everything is delicious and homemade. One of the only places to get good Mexican food in Sunnyside. This is due to the fact that we have a Mexican culture here amongst others and all that good food is being made in their own homes for themselves. I totally recommend it, u won’t be disappointed.

Taco trucks are a sight for sore eyes to this erstwhile Californian. I pass this truck all the time and recently finally gave in to temptation. Pluses: Didn’t charge me full freight($ 8) for my vegetarian burrito, rather only $ 5 Friendly bilingual cashier Grilled veggies, yum! Minuses: Too light on the beans. Was feeling a bit protein deprived even though it was a high-calorie meal. Didn’t really taste the sour cream or cheese I’ll give them another try. Hope springs eternal. Besides, they are only 2 blocks away!

I tried the al pastor taco and it was good, but I’ve definitely had better in NYC. The meat was very finely ground or chopped, and it didn’t have any charring on it. I was a bit surprised to get lettuce on it when I asked for everything; in my experience, «con todo» at traditional taco trucks usually means(just) onions, cilantro, salsa, crema and avocado sauce. The taco was definitely a good size for the price($ 3). Based on other reviews and photos the carne asada seems to be the way to go.

I have a problem. I can’t stop buying chicken tacos from this truck. They Are literally like crack. I love the guys who work here… they are always super nice. Let me warn you though… when you say«spicy» that is exactly what you get. They show up about 9pm every night… and stay til God knows when. Try the bottled mandarin orange Mexican soda – good stuff.

If you just had a baby, and you bring the baby for tacos here, then I have to say it’s good that you’re sharing such delicious food with your Vaga«Bundo of joy.» What to get: Carne Asada Taco What else: It’s $ 3 and it’s huge Really?: Yes, really huge, I’ll show you later, and the taco here is pretty big too Late night when I was already full from a million other Queens eats, I stopped here for a Carne Asada Taco as per Unilocal.Well done Unilocalers… you were right. Despite being stuffed to the brim, I still had space to force down this meat(who hasn’t forced meat into their mouth at one point or another in their lives). One thing I noticed other than how wet and tasty it was(wetter is always better), is that it’s a bigger taco than you’d expect. It’s twice the size of a normal taco. In that way, it reminds me of my gf. However it’s priced accordingly, so you won’t be paying a couple of dollars for this taco, it’s more like three. But it’s enormous so it’s worth the extra couple of dollars since you’re essentially getting two tacos in one. Very authentic, nice service, good meats, great location right on Queens Blvd… the wait time can be a little annoying but if you want authentic tacos, while you do have at least 15 or 20 authentic options in Queens alone, this is as good as any of them. And if serial killers get food here, then it’s El Vaga-Ted-Bundy. If you’re from about 20 years ago and carry your money in a waist-carrier, then it’s El Vaga-Bunbag. And if you’re a strong, manly cow, then it’s El Vaca-Burly. No I don’t understand how cows can be male either, but we should embrace cows being whatever gender they want to be.

Been here many times and the tacos are on point! $ 3/taco not the cheapest but it’s good for the quality. I am already craving it in my head while writing this review. I love the spicy pork and chicken! They also have a huge variety of sauce and toppings. One huge plus is the pickled jalapeño at the side, they are the perfect add on to the taco! Bare in mind they are quite spicy. Sometimes they would give me a side of dried red pepper. The way I eat it is I bite it off and shake out all the seeds inside the pepper. They aren’t super spicy, just enough to give it a little more heat. I love it! This opens till late night which I love and hate. So hard to resist when you have your midnight craving!

I don’t know why this taco truck doesn’t get more love from the inter-verse. I make it a point to try tacos and tortas from various taco trucks. The tacos are solid, but their tortas really shine. They are the right balance of beans, queso fresco, avocados, meat, lettuce and tomatoes. Everything kinda melds together without losing their identity. They taste great hot and just as good the morning after(and they taste great the morning after a drunk night). On top of the best tortas, the guys are always super friendly and they make their own pickles! I’m particularly partial to the salted beef and la lengua, but everything is good.

Nothing beats tacos after a long night out, these guys are geniuses for always grabbing a spot outside the bar. Can’t go wrong with anything you order and service is ridiculously quick. The people that operate the truck are a class act and will be definitely getting my business with their homemade hot sauce.

Late night tacos and tortas right off Queens Boulevard? Sign me up! The price is right — $ 3 for a pretty hefty taco — and the meat selection is wide. The guys here are sweet and accommodating, and the sauce/topping variety is impressive. The tacos can get messy quick, so make sure to have napkins on hand! They also serve tortas and quesadillas at reasonable prices, so there’s that if you’re feeling something more substantial.

Its parked outside the courtyard bar(my local) and I walked passed it for years because im vegetarian and figured they couldn’t accommodate my fussy diet. I was so wrong! You haven’t eaten a veggie taco til‘ you have had one of theirs. Raul and sammy are very accommodating, if not the nicest guys you will ever meet. If your in the sunnyside area try this truck, you will not be disappointed :-)

Jan 2014 Lazy dinner with GF Food– The BOMB tacos Service– Those guys are super cool and nice Ambiance– Ok so you’re standing outside on street I live a block away from this joint… and usually eat their tacos at least once a week. I’ve tried other taco trucks… but this is by far the best one. I can probably eat 5 of these in one sitting. I suggest getting the carne asada.

From the outside, this taco truck almost seems abandoned. I mean being parked outside Apple Bank(is this a real bank?) is one thing. But the exterior of this food truck isn’t exactly the cleanest. Then again, I came at the dead of night on a Thursday so that would be a partial reason as to why it wasn’t as tidy as it opened in the early afternoon. Don’t let this deter you from trying their food. These guy(s) were friendly off the bat. I only spoke to one because the other guy was off somewhere else. First thing I noticed besides the TV in the corner in background playing novelas was that he was wearing sani-gloves. Good shyt my man. Price point was decent with $ 2.50 per tacos $ 3 per tostados $ 7 for burritos & quesadillas. What I am most concerned about is the food itself which I put to the test as I ordered pretty much every type of taco filling they had. Except for sausage(chorizo) because they ran out. FU-K man… denying an Asian from their pork appetite is just cruel. There chicken tacos and carne asada tacos/burrito, because I was hungry, were the best. Juicy, tender, and nice flavor even without the guac, green hot sauce & burgundy chili hot sauce laced on top of it. The tacos are soft shelled and they were layered with 3 shells each. You might want to be careful because some of the edges were burnt not sure how but as I was eating at the Courtyard Ale House(yes you can bring food in but just make sure you order at least a drink), I accidentally swallowed a few rough pieces. Eating in the light is always the solid choice. But inside a bar you do what you can ya know? My beef is with the burrito. I ordered the carne asada and it was delish. BUT the the burrito wrapping I always hated which deters me from ordering burritos more often came to light during this meal. Each bite made the burrito shell harder to hold and almost all of the filling came splashing down on the Styrofoam container where the tacos were in previously. Thank God for that because I would have made a mess otherwise on the bar table. The flavors were fine but nothing that really stood out other than the carne asada. The rice was a bit soggier than I would have liked. For burritos Ideally the rice should almost be a la dente like spaghetti to give it that reason to chew thoroughly if you aren’t chewing food thoroughly to begin with. For late nights in Sunnyside, this is a good option for your Mexican cravings. TD bank is conveniently a swift walk under the overhead 7 train tunnel and across the street. Courtyard Ale House will get you right with booze. What more do you need? A massage? Wishful thinking.

This food truck is pretty awesome. It’s conveniently located off the 40th St. stop of the 7 line. I usually eat here about once or twice a week. The guys working there are very quick and friendly. I’ve only tried the beef tacos but they are delicious. Not the best I’ve ever had but they definitely hit the spot. Two tacos are more than enough for me but when I’m feeling like a fatty I get three. I will def try out the other items on the menu.

They’re not the best tacos/burritos you’ll ever eat, but they’re good at a great price, especially if you’re a vegetarian. Vegetarian burritos are only $ 5, that’s $ 2 off the meat ones! The men in the truck are also very nice. Fast service.

Decent Taco Truck The taco men were very polite and cordial. I tried the pastor spice, sausage spice, chicken, and ground beef. They even gave some pickled jalapenos along with the tacos which I thought was a nice gesture. I wish the tacos were as lively as their personalities but that was not the case. None of the flavors stood out. However the tortillas were nice and crisp. In a way these ‘vagabundos’ knocked me off my feet. I had to take my ‘zapatos’ off for my feet to breathe because of the extreme heat. I had all tacos with both green and red sauce. I love spicy food and I didn’t expect such fiery hotness from the red sauce/salsa. I was sweating profusely but I enjoyed it. As a spice lover, I did appreciate the ‘over the top’ red hot sauce/salsa. However, it acted as a mask. I think rubber tires would taste palatable with some of the red hell-fire on top. The sauce shouldn’t be the main character when it comes to tacos. I couldn’t really differentiate which taco was which after the numbing of my taste buds. They didn’t offer tongue or any of the more flavorful meaty options that Tacos Al Suadero offers. On the upside, if I was boozed up these tacos would definitely sober me up with a spicy smack in the face. The buzz about El Vagabundo from buzzed Unilocalers whom ingested these A-ok tacos are really hyping up Mexican mediocrity.
