Stopped in for lunch today. I had the fish tacos: a large fish fillet, lettuce, mayo drsg, a slightly spicy salsa… really good! This is not fast food, it took awhile. It is obviously prepared fresh. The place is not impressive — just a small space in a strip mall, but really worth a stop!

Looking for something different while we were visiting sunnyside and came across this place. The store was nothing impressive, just a normal takeout joint but the food was great. Papusas were amazing, empanadas were some of the best we’ve had and the plantains and beans super tasty. I think we might go back for lunch

I don’t even know what else to say except that I freaking love pupusas, and especially from this restaurant. I’m honestly glad I don’t live closer or else I’d have to spend even more time in the gym!

O.K., we read the reviews and never had eaten a pupusas before. We ordered two different types and rated them about a four. The place was small but clean and a friendly staff. The food was o.k. but lacking flavor. Once will be enough.

I lived in El Salvador and learned quickly how delicious pupusas are! These are the most authentic and best pupusas I’ve found in the states in my 7 years since moving back. I don’t know what their other food is like because why would you order anything but the pupusas!!!

In a town full of Mexican food, this restaurant offers something a little bit different. The papusas are awesome, delicious masa filled with cheese, beans or meat. I love taking people here and trying out the tamales, papusas and enchiladas. The prices are very reasonable and the service is always friendly

The food here is great! Pupusas are large — I only tried the cheese stuffed, but with a tamale and plantains it was a big lunch. The tamale was excellently seasoned. They also brought out a type of slaw with oregano(?) in it that was very tasty. Great stop off point if you are traveling the interstate. The dining room was clean and not too noisy.

The food wasn’t that great, my beef tacos were bland and so tough I couldn’t even eat the them all. I must say that the rice and beans did taste good.

I can’t speak to authenticity since I’ve never eaten Salvadoran food before. The papusas were ok, but I don’t have a reference point. I just found them to be very bland and less flavorful than a typical quesadilla(closest approximation of what a papusa is). They were friendly enough. Maybe I’ll be back if I’m in the area do I can try something with a bit more flavor.

This is an authentic salvadorian restaurant. A great place to go and just eat. Very friendly staff making homemade comfort food.

Wonderful and you would not expect it by looking at it. Had the Pollo Tamale, Plantanos and Pork Papusas. Great stop on the way to or from Seattle trips.

We were in the Prosser area for some weekend grape picking and after not seeing anything that piqued our interest we ran into Pupuseria. The place was empty at 4 O’clock, which is pretty normal. The restaurant seems like it’s new, nothing flashy about the décor, very simple. It was nice to have big flat screen tv to catch up on NCAA football. Our server was friendly, but our food was pretty slow coming out. We joked that the 4 pupusas better be incredible. Well, they were great! Sometimes pupusas are pre-made and then dropped in the fryer and come out soggy and greasy. These were fresh and not greasy. They were also pretty big. Two pupusas is more than enough at 3 bucks each. No complaints. I liked the beans and cheese, my friend liked the pork and beans.

Two Words: Fried Plantains. The food here is awesome. It is traditional Salvadorean food. Think your grandmother is from El Salvador and she is in the kitchen cooking just for you. I think that might actually be the case here. The food comes out one plate at a time, which is kind of cool, but kind of painful if you are really hungry. Like most restaurants in Sunnyside the atmosphere is less than ideal. Lots of kids running around and T.V.s tuned to loud Spanish language news stations. However, if you can get past that and just enjoy the quick trip to El Salvador it is a pretty awesome experience. They take cards here and speaking English is not a problem.
