Established in 2009.

Outcast Girls Design Group is a small startup company specialized in handmade jewelry and accessories. The company was founded in the beginning of 2009 in Los Angeles, California, and in November 2009 was moved to New York City.

For our jewelry we use primarily natural river rocks and solid sterling silver. We also incorporate fabrics and other fashion elements as well as various recycled materials. Each rock is individually examined for flows and tested to determine the grade of hardness. After passing the quality requirements the rocks are drilled and then carved with diamond sintered burs made in Germany and Belgium, and specifically designed to penetrate hard surfaces.

Our company does not use laser engraving machinery. We believe that the use of such equipment gives the rocks an artificial look which is rather unwanted. The goal of Outcast Girls is to make beautiful jewelry without compromising the natural appearance of the rocks, which is why the entire process is done by hand.
