Friendly, spacious, cheap, not crowded and a pretty good haircut! These guys are really good and they make the experience pleasurable. They had Office Space playing on the TVs when I was getting my haircut which was awesome! The younger gentleman was very nice and paid close attention to cutting. I only had to wait like 7 mins to get my haircut. At $ 14 it is probably the best price in Sunnyside. I’ve been to a bunch of other barbers around here and most of them don’t even speak English, only Spanish. Not here. Great barbershop!

Terrible. Never going back. There was a kid sitting next to me the last time I was there. When the barber was done the kid asked if he could get it cut a bit shorter. The barber exploded and basically told the kid to get lost. I’m sorry but there is no excuse to treat a customer that way, even if they were picky or demanding. That person entered your shop with the intention of giving you money! The least you could do is be nice!

This shop is as good as it gets! Quality affordable haircuts by skilled barbers. I only come here for my haircuts and beard trim. Great work, Steve!

Ive went to a lot of barber shops, not many people get my hair down how I want it, then I came here through a friend’s recommendation and I was sat down by James. He almost knew what i wanted before i asked for it. All the barbers know how to keep a conversation going and are very experienced. HIGHLY recommended.

I can’t speak for all the barbers but the young bald guy with the beard and glasses isn’t very good. I do not recommend!

Went to a few barber shops in the area before ultimately settling in here. The barbers are the best at what they do and the environment is open and chill.

Steve and Steve are artists and their canvas is your hair. They are both excellent barbers who aim to please. Great haircuts at affordable prices. I would highly recommend to others.

It’s been the fourth time I’ve been here. I have probably the worlds most stubborn hair and FINALLY I FINDSOMEONEWHOKNOWSHOWTOHANDLEMYHAIR. Their clients are mainly Caucasian due to its European owners. The guy who did my hair– don’t know his name but he’s the mid aged guy on the left did a better job than the guy on the right– a younger guy. The haircut was a really good price compared to previous barber shop prices. You wouldn’t expect such a steal especially in such a commercial area in Sunnyside, Queens!

No one likes a bad hair day. And though it may not look like it, I am somewhat particular about who handles my Asian hair. I had relatively low expectations for the barbers here considering their lack of Asian clientele and the fact they seemed more dead than alive for the many times I’ve strolled past the place. And the shop isn’t much to look at — the outside of the joint makes it an easy place to miss when walking along the sidewalk and the dated sign keeps the appeal at a pure minimum. Inside there are a few chairs and a small waiting bench, and wall décor that would make you think you’re still in the 80s. But classic barbershops aren’t judged for their looks so much as they are for their skill and I am pleased to report these guys have plenty. Juan was my eventual barber, a Dominican immigrant who spoke to me entirely in Spanish after confessing his English wasn’t so good(#1). He mentioned to me that he handles the Spanish speaking clients while his boss works with the rest, mostly Middle Eastern men. My Asian hair and I were already somewhat skeptical of what was about to come. He did his job and did it well. Asked me what I liked while suggesting ways to make my hair better than what it was before. $ 12 later, I came away with a surprising do that I was actually quite happy with, let alone satisfied. Sure, it was more expensive than the usual Chinatown barbershops, but in a pinch this place fulfilled all of my requirements. I don’t think I’d hesitate to go in there again for a haircut. They might also be the cheapest eyebrow threaders on the block at four bucks. It might not be a coincidence that since that day I’ve noticed this place constantly loaded with patrons. I don’t want to cite the Jando charm, but it seems New Generation has found it’s new stride. — — — — — — – (#1) Then he talks on his blue tooth earpiece to someone speaking completely in(good) English. Go figure.
