We specialize in sending targeted event invitations to our subscribers, on behalf of our event planner clients. We stand out among other event promoters since we don’t send out one uniform list of events to everybody.

History

Established in 2000.

Event Me’s mission is to be the most efficient and effective marketing tool for event organizers, and to help individuals get invited to quality activities they would not otherwise hear about. Event Me started in New York City and, due to its success, has now expanded its services to other U.S. metropolitan areas.

Today, thousands of loyal subscribers enjoy Event Me’s free service and receive email invitations to events that match their interests. This is accomplished by Event Me’s unique database and registration process: Subscribers select the type of events they would like to be informed about, allowing organizers to reach their desired audience most effectively.

Event Me sends out only targeted invitations to quality events. Right now, we can reach more than 22,000 subscribers in NYC and several thousand each in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, Philadelphia, Portland, the San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, and Washington, D.C.

Background:

As Manager of Germany’s Green Party in the district of Gütersloh from 1995 – 99, Volker organized campaigns and special events. Volker ran for federal office in Germany in 1994 and 1998, founded subdivisions of the party and represented single-​issue interest groups.
