This is my .99 store every time I need something I come here. They carry so many things its nuts, food, kitchen items, school supplies, greeting cards and party supplies. I usually come here when I need a card or some aluminum trays. Yes not everything here is a treasure but you will find a lot of stuff that its usually 4x the price at the supermarket or a house store. Also the lady behind the counter is super friendly and helpful(she might be the owner or manager not really sure)

This is my go to discount store in Sunnyside. If you are anywhere within walking distance and you don’t want to spend that Target money on household goods this is your paradise. Everything from plates to wrapping paper to phone chargers are here for your cheap ass. It’s like an assortment of buried treasures that originated from K-mart and Caldoors. They were even open on the day of the hurricane and the woman behind the register was in good spirits with her comic con style beanie on.

The review that Jando wrote over 2.5 years ago is still 100% accurate. It’s so generic there’s no point in trying to sell it more than it already sells itself. You know what you’re going to get when you go in there: cheap household products, gifts, and food.

When it comes to generic 99 cents stores, if you’ve seen one, you’ve pretty much seen them all. The big exception is Jack’s in Manhattan and like Jack’s, this place happens to also sell food. Not just snacks, but actual refrigerated food like hotdogs, eggs, cheese, etc. Of course that brings up questions about quality, but at these prices we can only agree that it’s all just«cheap.» The rest of the place has all of the fixens of a regular 99 cents store, only bigger. They’ve got all sorts of junk from outdated greeting cards to plastic ware. Customer service is limited here since it seems a husband and wife run the store. They don’t take credit cards here under $ 10 and during the post-work hours the place can get crowded. And for those who are too scared to buy the food, Greenpoint Farm( ) is right next door.
