Went there for my first and last time this morning. Arrive to see five women behind the desk slacking off, joking around and doing nothing other then being pretentious and thinking they were glamorous. The customer service is less than desirable. As noted by others this a French salon. Being from Canada I was asked if I spoke French as the assumption was I did. I only speak English. I found this rather insulting. French is only spoken by a small minority in Canada. This is like assuming folks in America should all be speaking Spanish when the majority only speak English. I don’t need to speak French and I don’t need to deal with French arrogance either. The lady that cut my hair was okay but rather slow. I had stated in the beginning my need for speed as I had no time to waste. The hair cut was okay in the end but most certainly not worth the cost of 46 dollars. Very over priced for what it is. The atmosphere is really pretentious with an aura of French arrogance, snottiness and superiority. This is America the least you can do is learn and speak English.

Love this place! Both my husband and I got to Fabrice :) Depending on what service you are going to do may be a little pricey but well worth the experience in this salon… it really is like a spa!

They have some good stylishes but the customer service is terrible. They will turn you away even if you are 5 min late but if you are on time you will still have to wait up to half hour. They don’t appreciate your business and loyalty, they will do it even if you are their long term(since they opened, which is years!) customer. There are much better places walking distance from them, with cheaper prices and with great stylishes but these places value and respect you as a customer. I am very disappointed and would never recommend this place to anyone. It’s a shame because they used to be very good. Unfortunately they got too snobby.

Rime is a amazing colorist. I don’t trust too many people to touch my hair. She did exactly what I asked for and was extremely professional. I’m so glad I found her.

I recently had my hair cut by the noted Fabrice. He walks in and we «consult» and I show him visually and tell him verbally I would like long Long bangs. However Fabrice is very busy grandstanding and I counted A total of his looking away from his cutting not once but 32 times and hurtling conversations across the room at other hairdressers in French, who themselves were absorbed in their own clients and therefore had to be re shouted at in French in order to interrupt them fully. The end result was not short bangs but little wisps as though I were two years old. I was horrified! When I could manage to acquire this Fabrice stylist attention long enough to tell him Zo wanted long bangs he then grabbed hair from the top of my head and cut it and pulled it over the short bangs like a drapery and said Voila ! Long bangs ! I felt my heart hammer in my chest. I wAs speechless! I now had two sets of bangs. One set was one inch, and over that set of bags I now had a second crop four inches long that I was supposed to drag over the baby bangs. I think I almost fainted but Fabrice assured me he does this all the time and sending me in my way with double bangs I left after paying 65 dollars to be made to look ridiculous. I now have a rim of baby bangs and on either side of them are two longer type of bushes about two inches longer and one inch thick cut square. When I went to my hairdresser to get my hair washed and styled she tried not to laugh but in the end she was honest and said it was the stupidest haircut she ever saw ! I agree but considering the source, there could be no other result. I think this salon is the worst possible bunch of phony individuals who incidentally appear very smug and Anti American. Enter at your own risk !

This is the best and most professional salon I have been too. The hair stylist always do a wonderful job. They recommend good treatments for my hair whenever I go and they always make a difference. I have been going for years and have never been disappointed. When ever I walk out I feel like a million bucks. It’s also good to get your nails done. It’s very clean and there is a nice choice of colors.

This place saved my life from a terrible hair emergency. 2 years ago, I decided to have ombré done by someone who had no idea what ombré was(bad idea I know, don’t judge me) and it was an orange/greenish nightmare. With tears in my eyes and green in my hair I stumbled upon this place and fell into the perfectly artistic hands of Ream, she spent 6 hours with me separating each fried strand one by one with a smile on her face, and worried if I was tired!!! She did an amazinggg job and left my hair looking and feeling as if the previous day’s catastrophe hadn’t happened. ILY. I now only color my hair with her. After a few visits my go to girl was booked(she issss amazing) and i was impatient and got a cut with Moses. Wow what a great haircut and blow dry. I have longgg thick hair and he took his time and gave me the best shape and style my locks have ever had! Goddess hair! So yes, highly recommended(oh and best hair wash ever) everyone is extremely friendly and professional. Be nice to your hair, go to the pros!

I usually don’t go into a place cold to do my hair color, meaning I depend on solid reviews either by someone I know or online before taking that step but being new to south florida from Chicago and having my roots growing out so fast I could no longer wear my hair down, I took a chance on this place. I’m glad I did! I’m surprised there aren’t more Unilocal reviews. I thought it was a great experience. Very friendly and professional staff. Reasonably priced(all over color $ 103), she used two colors. I saw Rime(hope I’m spelling that right — pronounced Reeeeem –long e) and she was fantastic. She took her time listening and was very frank about what could be done. No false promises, she delivered and I walked out being very happy. I would have given it 5 stars but the main website is mysteriously missing info on locations and pricing and as far as ambiance there’s definitely better out there and this is in a strip mall BUT that said I will definitely go back, 100%! Oh and Wonderful head massages involved with shampoo! Enjoy! Thanks!

I was lucky enough to get a last minute manicure/pedicure with Marina. What a delightful experience! Marina gives a wonderful spa treatment, the absolute best pedicure I’ve ever received. I will definitely go back when I find myself in Miami again! The salon is lovely, the staff is friendly and professional. By my NYC standards, this place is the salon to visit.

This place was amazing — beautiful salon, friendly staff and extremely professional stylists. Christina cut my hair and she did a phenomenal job. The cut and blowout were beautiful! Well worth the price. I will be sticking with Christina from now on :)

If you want an extraordinary experience with getting your hair and nails done, go to Marina! She is the absolutely the best, once you go to her just one time, you will see what a REAL mani/pedi should be like and will never want to go to anyone else after her. She gets booked up so schedule with her in advance. She also does amazing full body wax, that’s as gentle and painless as possible. As far as hair, Christina is the most amazing hair colorist, cut, and stylist! She gave me the most faboulous highlites I’ve ever had and a style that turned heads! AMAZING! She loves what she does and it shows!

LUVLUVLUV… I am super picky about every strand on my head… this is the first person in Miami who actually gave me exactly what I wanted. I actually used to fly home to have my mother’s salon do my hair, so I guess I have been spoiled for a long time lol, but ask for CHRISTINE, she is amazing and so sweet! Very clean and very professional atmosphere.

I’ve been coming here for about 4 years and hands down it is the BEST pedicure I have ever received. I always ask for Clovis, but when he is not available I have Marta or Denise give me a pedicure. I’ve also come here a few times for an eyebrow wax and Denise does a great job with that as well. The salon is always impeccably clean and everyone is so friendly. They also remember their loyal customers by name which is a nice touch when you walk in.

Go see Fabrice and Gilles! I feel like I am in France when I go there… a taste of home. But on a serious note, the staff is great and the 2 stylists I just mentioned are awesome. I always go with Fabrice but I see Gilles’ work and it is excellent.

Gilles is hands down the best. I love going to him because you can tell he’s excited about what he does and is always so nice and patient with the customers. I’ve been going to him for YEARS now and although I don’t live in Miami anymore, I always come back to him when I’m in town. After having moved for a few years, I have yet to meet someone like Gilles who can match up.

This is a french salon with a french customer service! I went there to get my hair colored. Got charged $ 170 for a medium length hair! The color burned my scalp and hair after 1 hour of processing(the stylist was chain-smoking meanwhile). I came out with a huge bill and damaged hair. Even their manager refused to do anything about it knowing the client was right. These ppl don’t’ give a s888 about you, so don’t come there! P. S. I’ve disputed my bill with the bank!

Great salon, the staff is really European and their skills are far superior to regular stylist, you can see the European skill level for the same price as any US salon. Highly recommended. Ask fro Fabrice or Gilles, they are the best in my view

I really like Jean Claude Biguine Salons. The atmosphere is calming and the hairdressers are well trained. I’ve never had a bad experience.
