Closets by Design

After recently purchasing a Clintonville home, the fiancé and I were faced with the prospect of shoving our clothes into the tiny black holes that masquerade as closets in Clintonville. It was a daunting task and we quickly Googled local closet companies. Closets by Design had a easy-​to-​use website and I was able to sign up for a free consultation online. A quick phone call from the company later, I was scheduled for a consultation within the same week. The scheduler worked with me to find a time slot after work that worked for me. I believe they also have weekend consultations.
During the consultation, the consultant did a wonderful job identifying our needs and personalizing the closets. For example, I’m short, so she was able to fit in more shelving as my hanging space did not need to be very high. She also ensured that I had enough space in the bottom of the closet for all my shoes. Additionally, she recommended that I add in a tie rack that could work as a belt hanger for me as I have several belts. Overall, the consultant took about two hours to design the closets. This ensured that all my questions were answered and I did not feel rushed at all. Though I have not shopped for closets before, I felt that the consultant was very knowledgeable and open about discussing typical budgets for similar projects such as mine. She also took into account that we were first-​time home buyers. I did not felt «conned» into paying a higher price and felt comfortable about the cost in general.
Next, the consultant worked with me to find a good time to have the installation completed. Again, weekend appointments are available, though they are booked out well in advance. The day of the installation, the installer arrived promptly and the job was done in half a day. In sum, I had a very positive experience with this company and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who needs a closet update.
