The Rover Spot

They took care of my LR3 with minimum fuss, replaced the front suspension bushes and the transmission oil pan and didn’t charge an arm and a leg like the dealer. I chatted with the owner and he’s a true Land Rover/​Range Rover enthusiast, and has a lot of knowledge. I’m happy to have found a place to take my rover that’s close and reasonable. I’ll be using them from now on.

Found this place on Unilocal and i am glad i went. I worked with ash and he took care of me. Its been a month now and have had new issues. Great experiance from start to end. I have been to a few shops and had bad experiances. This place specializes in rovers and they knew the car inside out. I am also thinking about upgrading my body kit. Will keep you guys posted if i do.

I go to these guys for all the maintenance and repairs on my 2008 Range Rover. Great prices. Friendly service. I had wiring issues with my car that no mechanic was able to figure out the and dealer was asking over $ 10,000 to change the complete wiring harness. The Rover Spot took car of the issue for under $ 900.

I been taking my wifes Range Rover here for about 3 years and it’s been a pleasure working with Ash and Karen. Before them I have been a few other spots but no one knows Range Rovers like these guys. There main mechanic has been working on land rovers for the past 15 years. The prices are very fair and 20−30% cheaper then other places from my experience. The reason I keep going back is the trust I have in them. In the beginning I would double check and now they have my trust and never question anything. Honest people to work with.

I was referred to The Rover Spot by a new acquaintance. My car was making loud noises and vibrating uncontrollably. Our mechanic said it could be two problems and if he fixed one part and it wasnt it then I would have to pay for it anyway! So I decided to try this new place. Met with Ash and upon driving my car out of his driveway he told me what the problem was. Raised my car up for inspection and showed me what part needed to be replaced. He finished the repairs within hours and my car drives smoothly now. As a woman its hard to find a reliable and honest repair shop but this experience has truly left me with a smile on my face! Thank you Rover Spot!

First time customer and must say they will be are go to guys in the future. Service, knowledge, and execution was the best… Our RR had never been to a service center other than the dealer we purchased it from… Mike and Ash are really great business people… not to mention Dad who stays in the background… what a good feel experience… Never been so happy to pay $ 1000 for a car repair in my life…

WARNING: I asked these guys to check my Rover’s engine and do an oil change. They did the oil change, but one month later when my Rover is still over-​heating, another mechanic found water in the oil and smoke coming out of the oil chamber. He said it is a sure sign of a bad head gasket. The Rover Spot never caught it and they call themselves «Rover experts». I trusted these guys. Now I feel really let-​down and disappointed. I could have saved money on other repairs had I known the engine was not good from the start.
UPDATE: About 5 months later, I had the oil looked at and it was black! I don’t think they even changed the oil. They also changed the passenger door and when the window wouldn’t work on the «new» door, they made little effort to fix it. I have a non-​operating window.
They always gave me hand-​written receipts The reason they gave was that they didn’t want to charge me taxes!

Beware of the Rover Spot. Very dishonest people. I will avoid trading with them online on eBay, Craigslist or any other platform. It has been more than 2 weeks since they took my money and not rendered the service I paid for.
I ordered a a part for my Range Rover on Sept 9^th and paid via PayPal for the part and the shipping fees. I called several days later to check on the status of my shipment and no definite answer was provided to me. I was lied to and was told they will call me back, which never happened. I kept calling everyday for the next week and still no answer. My calls to the cell phone of Mike Keshishyan the person I first dealt with were being ignored and one person at the Rover spot by the name of Ash answered some of my calls but never provided answers as to why they couldn’t or wouldn’t want to ship my order or refund my money. As of this review it has been more than 2 weeks since my payment and my order has not been shipped out to me and no reason was provided. I spent too much time trying to resolve this. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND The Rover Spot. Stay away and avoid being taking for a ride.
