SOLA monitored the existing alarm in house I purchased so I signed contract with them to monitor it for same $ 22 monthly cost that they had charged prior owner. Then, installer came out and said system was too complicated. They sent me a proposal to replace entire system for more than $ 1,000 and then I would’ve paid 50% higher monthly cost. It seemed more like incompetence than bait and switch, but still can’t recommend SOLA since they did not deliver service as promised. Bay Alarm came out and hooked up existing alarm without issue so I am now fully protected. I wish I had not waited six weeks for SOLA to figure it out.

After a recent crime increase around my neighborhood, I contacted SOLA to install a camera system in and around my home. Chris came and helped me determine what type of camera system would work best for me. Chris explained everything and sent me an invoice detailing all the work and was very straightforward.
The day of the install, the technicians showed up on time and were very professional. Like worker bees, they ran cable in the ceiling and under the house quickly and did a great job keeping things clean. After the install, BJ explained the system and helped me understand the equipment. BJ knows his stuff and is very patient. I have a background in physical security equipment but it was still nice to have a professional show me the ropes with something I was not as familiar with, including remote monitoring on my wireless devices. I love that feature!
I had ADT alarm monitoring before but SOLA offered me a wayyyy cheaper rate for the exact same monitoring and I didn’t need to change my existing alarm panel. Yes please!
Since having the system installed, other neighbors have had their own installed with different companies. In comparing prices, with them, the systems are all pretty comparable depending on the number and type of cameras, as well as any other special features you want.
For a variety of reasons, I highly recommend looking into a camera system to help protect your property and for piece of mind. Do your homework and shop around, but definitely consider contacting SOLA first.
