Warning, they do honor their advertised prices for jobs that are less than 25 square feet. They advertise all over the place that they will do quartz countertops for $ 39.99 installed but that does not include bathroom vanities unless they are over 25 sq. ft. They do not mention the sq. ft. requirement in their advertisements. I seriously doubt they have the lowest prices. They quoted me a price that was double my other quotes, and that was if I chose one of their pre– fab counter tops! Don’t waste your time driving all the way out to Sun Valley for this place.

Customer service needs a courtesy class. Bad attitude from Alejandra receptionist and not helpful. Every time I spoke to her she was rude.

After spending another couple of hours of my life in Planet Stone yesterday, I had to write this review to say just how wonderful Nancy Barrera is.
When I first emailed over our kitchen design I shared it from the Ikea website. I waited a couple of days to hear back from them and when I didn’t I called again and Nancy was so relieved to hear from me. My contact details she had were wrong or misplaced (I forget now) and she’d been unable to reply to my email as it came from Ikea with no contact details for me. She said she’d tried calling Ikea to get a contact number for me or an email, but Ikea couldn’t/wouldn’t give it to her, obviously, but I appreciated the effort she put in.
Yesterday was my second visit to Planet Stone as the quartz I picked out on my first trip was out of our budget. My husband is deployed with the army right now so trying to choose countertops together using video calls and photos was challenging and time consuming. Nancy was so helpful and patient, making great suggestions and reworking the proposals. Her contact at the slab yard even stayed late, moving multiple slabs so I could hand pick the two we needed.
The turnaround time is also fantastic. This time next week I’ll be enjoying our new countertops! You couldn’t ask for better than that.
I read the other reviews about poor customer service and a member of staff being rude and I’m pretty sure they are referring to the other girl who works there. I haven’t had much to do with her but from the couple of times she’s answered the phone or I’ve overheard her interacting with other clients, let’s just say I’m glad I got Nancy.

Everything and Everyone at Planet Stone is FABULOUS! Besides having the best prices they have a top notch sales, measuring and installation crew.
Yes… They do it all! After shopping everywhere for Caesarstone I found Planet Stone. It was worth the 30 mile drive from home to see their place of business. They have samples of everything and you can even see where they do the fabrication!
I wanted an edge a bit larger than the standard and it wasn’t a problem for them.
Oscar, my installer was so good that I recommended him to my Aunt and Uncle who now also love him!
After a horrible, stressful six months working with the contractors from Hell I took over and found Planet Stone. I walk in to my kitchen every day and SMILE!

Took my 40 year old house and literally transformed it. Granite looked so nice – and was so affordable – my real estate agent asked how she could get hold of PlanetStone, because she wanted to use them too. Just ask questions and understand proposals, since you must be conscious of the fact that you pay extra for the sink cut-​outs to be done; the drilling for the sink fixtures is part of the price, though… and their sinks – which we purchased – looked fantastic!

After price comparing for what seemed like forever, I found Planet Stone and their beautiful selection of quartz at reasonable prices. Their staff was friendly and easy to deal with. I am very happy with our new counters and the ease of the process with them!

Walked in to get a price for a quartz design that I heard it was good didn’t remember the brand but the name of the quartz. The girl in front was very rude and unhelpful. I don’t know maybe it was her off day or she didn’t like to work there but anyway she was very very rude. Have some respect for potential customers. Asked her for estimate for our kitchen and she told me they charge $ 300.00 to give me estimate!

I have been looking around for a while and I have no idea what other people are talking about when say the lowest price! I can tell you the pricing they are offering are higher than average pricing that you can find.

This company was geographically very undesirable for me to do business with… With Anaheim mile of tile blocks away I figured I could find a better local resource… Was I wrong and glad I tried. I did simple measurements they quoted me over the phone then had their professional come out and do their measurements and formalize the proposal almost to the penny of what was quoted over the phone… My first great experience… next they showed up on time second grate experience… completed all the required demolition all the while being careful with freshly painted cabinets third great experience… Then came the hard work removing a 6×10′ granite island granite top down 2 ½ flights up very steep stairs fourth great experience… Come to find out the sink I purchased in hopes that it would slide in was too large hence my fifth great experience with the fabricator redesigning the top so I could have a complete sink installation same day lastly they needed to carry upstairs 2 ½ flights another piece of granite 8′ x 10′ possibly 1000 pounds at 10 o’clock at night placed it cleaned it and left without any additional charges… Can’t thank them enough job exquisitely well done!

Had a great experience with Planet Stone for our kitchen renovation. They definitely have the best pricing that I could find around town for granite and quartz and a huge selection, including some lines that are hard to find. I chose a beautiful Cambria quartz countertop. From the initial consultation and getting advice for my project from Nancy to Ivan coming out to measure to installation — everything went very smoothly. They were patient, professional and well informed. I felt like i was in great hands throughout the process. So happy with final result!

I rue the day I was referred to Planet Stone! I would not recommend them — ever!
I should have known by how many times I had to call and leave a message for them just to get an estimate that I was in for trouble.
It was that way with absolutely everything — an appointment for an estimate — to get the estimate — to get them to pick up our slab — to get an installation date — to get them to come back to fix the debacle that was our installation — and then the same thing with our kitchen (for the slab that we had already purchased).
The slab was just installed and part of the counter is loose, we emailed them, they said they’d call back the next day to arrange to have it fixed — of course — no call back.
Without a doubt, the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
If you’ve got plenty of time, call them. They are definitely inexpensive but, I think I’ve finally learned that you get what you pay for.
They have the rest of our slab for the other bathroom. We’re going to pick it up and find someone else. I’d rather do it myself with a hammer and chisel then go back to them.
I really can’t understand how they stay in business. If the owner of the business knew how bad his office staff was, I’d like to think he’d do something about it. But, the lack of response to customer’s calls is really quite offensive — it shows so little regard for the customer.

Extremely professional and diligent the whole way through my project. Was an incredible breeze working with them and they got my job done fast and right! Will def use them again. Prices were very reasonable too. Highly recommended.

We had a great experience using Planet Stone for a custom Ceasarstone desktop. We had shopped around some and found their prices extremely competitive. It was helpful to be able to see good size samples of all the colors, and the trim styles, in their showroom. The service was very professional. For both our measurement and installation appointments, we were given a window of 9−10am, and both times the guys showed up *early*. (With so many other services, 9−10am usually means they show up at 10:30 or 11, so this was very refreshing!) They did a very careful and accurate job with the measurement and the fabrication, including some tricky details in our installation. We are very pleased with how it turned out, and the Caesarstone looks fantastic. We highly recommend them based on our experience.

The Planet Stone just finished installing a quartz counter top and backsplash for our kitchen.
They’ve done a fabulous job! The quality of the workmanship is outstanding! Please refer to the photo of the seam, where two pieces of the quartz are joined. It’s barely noticeable! Laser precision!
Gloria and her husband are very professional and the nicest business owners we’ve known. Their staff is also very knowledgeable and courteous. House remodeling is extremely stressful, but in this case it was a great relief to work with a competent, skillful and nice group of people.
I visited their showroom a few times to look at their samples (and they have a huge selection of different stones and colors) and chose a color. Once I made a decision, I went back to inspect the slab before they cut it. Gloria and everybody there were always very nice and helpful. Their prices are also reasonable!
We would definitely chose the Planet Stone for our next project and would highly recommend them to our friends and family.

My experience with Planet Stone was exceptional. They were quick, efficient and delivered a high standard of work. They were $ 1400 cheaper than their closest competitor and I do not feel in any way that they cut corners to achieve this. A fantastic job done by a fantastic company. I recommend them highly.

Cheapest prices for granite and quartz around the area. My parents and I were shopping for a slab or a pre-​fab countertop for an island and this is the cheapest place that can cut, shape, and install it. There are many many competitors in the area and this place beat them all, even Lowe’s. Lowe’s quote for us was by far the most expensive. We went to Planet Stone in the morning and got our quote, which we thought was expensive, but after shopping around, turns out that was the best price.
So we ended up coming back right before they closed and purchased it from them. Pablo was the one who quoted us in the morning and we came back to him. He’s such a nice guy with such a pleasant face. He’s just an overall great guy to deal with.
They have a really great selection of stone in your price range. They’re all very beautiful. We encountered a repeat customer who said he was very happy with the counters and install in his kitchen.
I would definitely come back here again if we need some more stone.

Top quality for a great price! Friendly customer service and professional installers

The show room is impressive, the Granite prices are very very good. The customer service is above average. We used them to measure and install granite in the kitchen, fireplace, x2 bathrooms. Very happy with everything.
Except… you would think after spending all this money that they would throw in the price for plywood by now right?
So when the contractor shows up at 9am he can’t do the job due to the fact we haven’t paid for ply wood?
This is $ 40? Why everytime make a stink when we are loyal repeat customers.
These people don’t seem to care about repeat customers or loyalty.

Executive summary: I went without water in my kitchen for two weeks due to these guys’ mess-​ups. However, the end result looks great.
First, when they came out to measure, one of the guys gave me a ten-​minute lecture on how I need a husband to deal with all of this for me. Gross, and we are off to a bad start already.
Next, they just gave an installation time, and didn’t check first I told them they need to be done by 12:30 because i have a meeting. At 12:45 they were still at it (they had to re-​cut some because they measured incorrectly) and I left them to finish. They said that’d be fine. When I come home to find that they didn’t drill faucet holes, I call and they won’t come back for seven days to do it. One week.
Day 7 after first install, they return to drill the holes, show me the holes are big enough, and leave. I find however that they incorrectly cut ply-​board underneath, so the washer and bolt underneath didn’t fit, despite me giving them manufacturer specs — and the actual faucet.
I called immediately and was told they would come back same-​day. I waited at home for four hours and they never came or called. I called and they said no, the next afternoon. They never called or came. I called and they said no, in four days. All the while they are trying to make me feel that it is my fault.
How is the actual granite, you ask? The side is cracked in one place, and it’s clear they glued it back together. The bullnose seams are quite visible. Other than that it really looks wonderful, no sarcasm.
Maybe if I did have that husband it would have all worked out better…

Three experiences: Kitchen counters, bathroom vanity, and kitchen in a rental unit
The two really bad reviews on here if you notice are from the SAME couple. NOT FAIR! I have never had a bad experience like that. There were some communication issues at one point with Alejandra, but management has fixed it. That is not the case anymore. Jaime & Gloria are both sweethearts who have always tried to make sure we are happy.
BIG TIP: Your install is related to your cabinets, your own descriptions and instructions, and supervision. If your cabinets are not installed right your counter will suffer. Our vanity is crooked, the wall is crooked (bad contractor) thus the counter is angled. Oh well, still looks amazing.
Every installation I have done, I went over the measurements with the guy who comes in order to ‘walk through’ the counters with him. This helps to limit misunderstandings about what you want. Also during installation I check in periodically to make sure they are doing the things I want. If I see something, I ask. Right away.
PROS: Cheap. Like really. Cheap. Good quality. Plenty of options, colors, and styles. The installers are very helpful (one of my cabinets was installed wrong and my stove wouldn’t have fit, they moved it.)
CONS: You should supervise the work being done (like any project you do anyhow, so not really a con.)
