Established in 2003.

Have been in this industry for over 23 years, previously as C & N Growers, and as of 2003 as Nick’s Nursery. Having previously worked in landscaping we know what works in the Los Angeles area. We have large selections of deciduous trees, succulents, fruiting trees, evergreen trees & shrubs, and palms and cycads. Basically everything you need for your home gardening needs.

I found Nick’s in my search for the perfect Bougainvilleas. I visited other nurseries, some right down the street from Nicks and found that Nicks Nursery was the most impressive from their plant selection, friendly costumer service and their prices were almost half of those other multi location places. What a great find!!! Never again will I buy a plant at Home Depot after finding Nicks Nursery. I walked into this nursery after calling about a 15 gallon ficus for $ 35. Other local nurseries were selling the same ficus for $ 65. What a deal! As I roamed through the nursery I found other great deals as well. On another positive note, the staff was very attentive and extremely knowledgable.
Definitely will return and recommend to friends and family.

Been to this nursery twice and can’t even begin to describe how wonderful the owners (Nick and his son, Edwin) and the people that works here. The first time, Nick showed me around and educated me about drought tolerant plants in their golf cart. He also has given me tips on when is the right time to do planting. Yesterday, I came and met Edwin who was more than patient with me and help me come up with some sort of design for my whole yard. The prices are unbeatable compared to our local nursery and home improvement stores. This is definitely my go to place for plants from now on! Thank you Nick’s Nursery!

The plant selection here is great! They have a lot of drought tolerant plants at very reasonable prices. I got a truck load of plants here for just under 300 dollars. It’s quite a hike to get to this place, but worth the drive in savings. The guy who runs the place is very friendly, knowledgable about plants and knows where to find everything in this massive nursery. This neighborhood is a bit sketchy, kind of at the end of the earth in Sun Valley. Go with a friend if possible.

Great selection! Prices were around 30% lower than big box home improvement stores.
I could spend a good hour or more walking through their huge lot, just looking at their selection. Their lot is so big, they use golf carts to ferry plants back and forth. Because of their selection, you can find plants that never make it to the large nursery chains.
Workers were very helpful, although the man who appeared to be the decision-​maker that day was really busy and it took a while to get helped. He was friendly though and apologized for the wait (he was dealing with what seemed a difficult client).
I’d definitely come back. Instead of wasting my time hoping to find what I need at smaller nurseries or the limited big box garden centers, this will be the first place I look.

We’re landscaping our backyard and Nick’s nursery is the best place to find California drought resistant plants. This is a family owned nursery and people are very friendly and helpful. Nick (the owner) and Edwin (his son) are so easy to talk to, very professional, and provide very good recommendations. They know their plants well. Price is also very reasonable. Will go back to them for all our plant needs.

After reading the reviews I decided to check it out because I’m working on a cactus garden. Carlos (Tigre) showed me around educating me on different types of cacti, needless to say I ended up buying an entire bed of succulents for dirt cheap and a huge nopal tree for $ 15… I recommend this place highly.

I saw the reviews from Unilocal and decided to check it out. The reviews were on target. They have a great selection of plants for drought resistant yard. The only one they did not have was the Douglas Iris, but they do have a big selection and the price is the lowest I have found. I noticed that a lot of gardeners come here to get their supplies, so I know I will be coming back!

Thank you Nick for all the great plants we got from you. You never disappoint and your guy Eber is very knowledgeable about every plant you carry! That it self is very impressive! This is our 3rd time buying from Nick’s Nursery and there is ZERO comparison to their prices. We got huge trees that run for over $ 100 for a mere $ 35! And gallon plants for $ 2.50! You can’t beat those prices. We’ve been loyal customers from day one.
Thank you Eber for taking your time helping me pick the perfect trees and plants for my environment. Not all plants survive in extreme heat and cold, so your professionalism was truly valued. ;)

Have been to Nick’s a couple of times, it was recommended to me by the guy who put my lawn in. He said they had the best prices and who know what? They do.
I’ve checkout other nurseries closer to home that other Unilocalers have said were super inexpensive and I have to say, if you want inexpensive you HAVE to go to the valley.
Example 15-​gallon Ficus Benjamin. Armstrong Garden $ 129, one nearby nursery highly reviewed on Unilocal sells them for $ 50, but at Nicks it’s $ 35. You see? Pretty much sums it up, no?
The nursery is really rather large and if you have a large enough order they will deliver for a small fee (depends on how far you live from them).
I have been able to buy plants which I would not have been able to afford otherwise, thanks Nick!

If you are considering plants and trees for your home, I beg you to choose Nick’s Nursery over a place like Home Depot.
1. The prices are amazing — about one-​third cheaper than big box stores.
2. The selection is outstanding. The owners will take you around the lot in a golf cart until you find just what you’re looking for.
3. The customer service is top-​notch. Unlike a place like Home Depot, the staff know everything possible about their stock. They help you make just the right selections and carefully load up your car.
4. You’re supporting a family-​run business.
I love Nick’s Nursery and it makes me so happy to shop there. Drive the extra few minutes for a top-​notch experience.

Was in the market for a couple of fruit trees. Home Depot and Lowe’s each want nearly $ 70 for a 3 foot tree. Got an 8 – 10 footer at Nick’s for the same price. You even get a knowledgeable salesman to help you out. Good luck with that at the big box store. They’ll load it in your car or truck and you don’t leave with a bad taste in your mouth. Plus it’s a real mom & pop kind of place.
Oh yeah, Fruit trees = Food = no tax! Who knew?

They have a great selection, much better than home improvement stores and very reasonable prices. The guys who work there always load everything into the car with liners. From large trees to succulents to shade plants — Nick has it all.

Large selection, great prices and helpful staff. I wanted a very hard to find tree. They called a manager at another place and the huge tree was brought to us within 20 minutes.
