I had my 2015 Ram 3500 gears swapped out to 4.10s by these guys when everybody else I went to said «it can’t be done» or if it could have they were charging and arm and leg! It was my 1^st time dealing with them and I was surprised when they called me a few hours I dropped off my truck and told me that it was actually going to be 400 bucks cheaper than the original quote! Wow! No one has ever done that to me, especially after the cust. Has agreed on the price. They turned my truck around within a few hours. Very high quality work! Can’t say enough good things. I’m giving this place 5 stars already just by reading the other reviews… I will be stoping by on 6÷20÷15 to get some work done in my 87 yj rear differential Quality Auto Sales dealer in Sun Valley Sold me the car and when I called them to ask about where they take they’re cars for service they recommended Hoopers.
I will add a new review to let yall know about the service and if everything I read here was real…

Came in to get a gear swap from 4.10 to 3.73 on my roush mustang. Prices are great, and the staff are very friendly. This is second time I’ve switched my gears on my cars but my first time using Hoopers. They took little longer than expected, but it was worth the wait. Did a very clean job, no gear whine or anything.
Even offered there lunch to me since I had to wait at the shop. Ryan and Anthony gave me superb service and I will definitely come back to them for future diff service and upgrades

Had Hooper’s rebuild my ’92 4Runner third member. They were incredibly helpful and they really know their trade. They will explain everything and make sure that you understand as well. Great place, highly recommended.

2008 jeep wrangler unlimited rubicon. i wanted to do an upgrade for my Dana 44 from 4.11 gears to 5.38 gears. every place i called were priced over $ 1400 more than Hoopers, and two weeks wait time, and offered no brand name gears.
Anthony (a great gentleman) was unbelievably professional on the phone, and cured all my worries about the gears, and the service i am getting.
I drove appx 100 miles each way to get to his shop. i was in the morning and out in the afternoon.
I can’t say enough good things about Anthony, Ryan and Jason. they were all very professional and caring.
although, the gears that i was priced for were generic, the gears i got were Yukon gears (love that product as it is the best on the market). i brought two brand new drive shafts, and had Hoopers install them as well, Anthony did not even bother asking me to pay for installing those (others quoted me $ 1xx to install them)… wow, how great feeling was that!!!
Quality of work was superb. Hoopers folks are straight forward mechanics and give no none sense stuff. you get best service and quality products.
i can go on and on about them, but rather let you find-​out your self and i am sure you will not be disappointed at all.

I drove in from Palm Springs — in arriving I was expecting that they won’t be able to get it done because I arrived so late in the morning. I drove 45 miles per hour — from Palm Springs — it took longer than expected. Bless their little hearts the guys moved around some schedule repairs to fix my car in three hours.
When Anthony test drove the car he asked me if I drove the car there «rolled his eyes like OMG» I was told I had no oil, all the bearings and whatever else is in a differential was melted. I was apprehensive in doing the work since the two transmission people in Palm Springs quoted me higher prices and a three week waiting time to finish the car — and hinted to me that I would be ripped off from Hoopers. This was not the case — the car drove better than it ever did — the guys were polite and completed the rebuilt in three hours.

Went in to hoopers to have a simple job done, Anthony actually gave a few pointers on how to do it myself, and I did. A shop that will help you and be so honest with you is great in my book. I’m glad my buddy referred me. gonna get some lockers in the future, I’ll definitely be back!

Anthony and the crew at Hoopers are the best, they know their business and cater to dealers, performance enthusiasts and racers alike. These guys are setup to do a large volume of business — literally 100s of cars a week — and are totally quality conscious.
I’ve had 2 rear ends built here, both perfectly, both in-​and-​out in a day. THey even painted the housings at no extra charge. I’ve brought them used differential carriers and gear sets that I bought online to check out and they’ve never charged me for testing the units. That’s good customer service right there.
They will do complete turnkey service, supplying all the parts needed at reasonable and competitive prices, or they will work with your parts to help save you money. Their service rates are fair and competitive — but there is no competition in my opinion.
I recommend Anthony and Hoopers to all my friends that need any level of rear end work from complete rebuilds to simple gear swaps. If you want the best, go to the best. Go Hoopers!

Can’t say enough good things about Anthony and the guys at Hoopers. Besides being the only truly specialized and honest place for anything to do with routine and high end rear ends and diffs, these guys are simply top notch costumer service, the rare kind. You don’t feel they’re going through the motions here to please you as if it’s an order from the boss, they’re honestly happy to do the work and happy to see you happy with their work, thats a big difference. I actually bought the technician that worked on my truck lunch… When was the last time you felt compelled to do that for a tech at an auto shop? This guy went way above an beyond to do the work on my pain in the ass land rover discovery.

Good first impression from everyone but failed to deliver. 2 weeks for a simple truTrac install no serice performed after all this time. The excuse you may ask «couldn’t find wheel lock!» it’s not like they didn’t have my phone and I called 2 days before to make sure it was ready for pickup this place fails bad do yourself a favor and stay away form this shop. need new staff! I called for a quote for a rear end on my1996 Impala and was told $ 750 so I decided to bring it in. I asked how much would it cost to upgrade to a Eaton posi the MAN told me he would advise me if he felt I needed it.
Service was fast and the car was ready the next day. I jumped in my ride and test drove it, WOW, What a difference a day makes. Problem solved. Upgraded gear ratio from 3.08 to 3.73. Was advised the Eaton was not needed. Good call!
Once arriving back to the shop from the test drive the gentleman handed my receipt and told me it was going to be around $ 95 dollars cheaper. Paid the man and gave the mechanic who worked on my car a tip for a job well done.
