My neighborhood park! practically grew up here!
Has all the aspects of an L.A. ass park…
4’5 grown men and retired cholos on the basketball courts that just recently got 3 point lines painted in by the city after 15 years…
Everyone here is recently released from county.
everybody fouls and travels on these basketball courts.
daily basketball fights and shootouts
piss and shit floating through the public pool during the summertime
children with no parents and 13 year olds making out and piping down in the public bathrooms
3 different hoods trying to control the park.
pretty friendly paleteros and overpriced gatorades. L.A. street dog vendor named Maria de la Torre Negra de Oaxaca
The baseball team is called «The Bums». pretty much sums up the park after hours. filled with bums
i used to come drink forties by the pool at night when i was a youngster. my friend’s 11 year old brother got stabbed here but survived.
Cool park, but ghetto. Graffiti everywhere.
got my skateboard and bike stolen here during basketball practice as a child.
Fernangeles park. home sweet home.
