Crown Disposal

These people are so disorganized and dirty. Every time they come for pick up I have to clean up after them. They throw things out of the trash bin even dog feces. The next time I will stay home and confront their worker. I am not responsible for cleaning up after each pick up. Let them do the job right.

This company is not very helpful. We have been using them for some time now and they p/​u @ our office every week. They leave trash EVERYWHERE. I understand that it is overflowing and if they can not p/​u a courtesy call would be very appreciated. Or an option to come at another time to have a scheduled p/​u. Walking up to the office with a ton of trash that needs to be picked up would ruin anyone’s day. They leave right there on the ground. When we call to ask what is going on they are so unhelpful and do not offer to help at all. One time my boss and I went out to clean up and they watched us, did not even offer a hand.

These guys come super early in the am to the alley behind our house to service an apartment block. Every time without fail the operators are too lazy to return the dumpster to where they found it and instead leave it in the middle of the alley blocking all traffic.

Please stop picking up trash at 4:46 am! It wakes us up every Wednesday. We love the M an M store at 12 903 Moorpark, Studio City and wish to continue to shop there but the noise that early has to stop. Check out google earth and see that the store is surrounded by residential!

Poor customer service, bad billing, rude drivers.

Remember when one of your drivers ran a stop sign and nearly killed a guy on a motorcycle and tried to ignore the incident ever happened. Also remember when the same driver ran the same stop sign nearly hitting a woman and her child? You guys are great

One of their drivers ran a stop sign at the intersection of in a residential area of Los Angeles. I ride a motorcycle and had to take evasive maneuvers to avoid a collision with the waste removal truck and led to me being ejected from my bike. I picked myself up and the driver then tried to say he had no responsibility that he was leaving. I had to throw myself in front of his truck to prevent him from leaving. He finally got out of his truck (he smelled of alcohol but could not be certain) and called his boss. I asked him for his information to which he refused at first. I called 911 and they stated they would send an officer out if he refused to give me his info. He then changed his mind and gave me his info.
I called the company directly to get the number to the insurance company as instructed by the local police department and was given the Supervisors info. He (already armed with the knowledge of the incident) took a very defensive stance and stated that he could not and will not help me that the accident was probably my fault. I asked if I could have the insurance info, He then stated he does not deal with the insurance. I asked again who does and he then told me, «You should have got the info from the driver, you get it yourself!»
I was floored by his actions and attitude toward me. Almost like he condones his drivers to break basic traffic laws and leave the victims of his employees actions to fend for them selves.
I had to do my own investigating and finally got ahold of the insurance company. (whom also is ignoring my calls and refuse to deal with this incident) I have since returned to the same stop sign gathering video of almost EVERY one of their drivers running the same sign. 1 driver slowed a little but then continued. I spoke with some residents of that neighborhood and one woman with child said she was nearly ran over by one. She jumped out of the way and the driver continued on.

Same as the others say. Shifty contracts, and poor customer service. Salesmen that promise things the company won’t stand by.
Don’t sign anything with them. The «small print» won’t even be shown to you until after you sign.

July 18, 2013: This morning at 0530 am, I was awakened by a loud honking from a big truck horn. I have been hearing the honking over the past few weeks, and this time I got up to see who is honking so early in the morning and waking me up from precious, deep sleep. I saw it was Steve, from Crown Disposal trash Co, and he was picking up the trash at the Ralphs Store, on Lincoln, Venice Beach, CA. I live within 500 yrds. First of all; no trash pick up is allowed (per City Ordinances) before 6 am and secondly, no HORN honking. I confronted Steve and he said that the store told him to honk. I wrote a complaint after speaking with two employees at the Ralphs store. They informed me that Steve has a cell phone and also called the store. Apparently there is a new padlock on the trash bin. Please have some consideration for your customers and neighbors and be polite. No more horn honking please… We all can do one little thing to make the world a little better place to live in. We have had contracts with Crown at a number of our properties and we have always been treated with respect. Everyone we have interacted with at the company has been fantastic and we are very happy with their service.
Our kids elementary school tour the facility in Sun Valley and they learned all about the importance of recycling. Great company. Great people.
