History

Established in 2009.

Community Distribution Center was established by local business leaders Michael Landver and Eric Feingold.

After years of supporting nonprofits they envisioned creating a resource that would become a beacon of hope for many families to come.

Out of this vision Community Distribution Center was created to serve the 1 in 4 Americans healthy foodfacing food insecurities.

Community Distribution Center provides food, non-​food products and services to families who are in need, when they need them.

We collect food, non-​food products and other support from community distributors, manufacturers, retail outlets, individuals and corporations throughout Southern California.

100% of the families we serve are low income and face severe food insecurities. Families are able to have a «shopping» like experience when they walk through the doors of the CDC. We currently serve approximately 500 families per week with enough food to sustain their families for up to 2 weeks.
