CMC Event Rentals

We hired CMC about 5 months before our wedding event on 2÷14÷2016. On the day of I was so nervous about our draping for our wedding ceremony to be there on time. CMC really did a great job at not only being there on time but breaking down our setup on time. If you are looking for any draping or party rental needs this is the place. I worked with Anna most of the time and she did great at handling our needs.

We rented furniture, linens, dishware, chairs, and lights from this vendor (I think they go by a new name, HD Rentals). We paid cash upfront as they gave us a discount (no tax). However, this was a BAD mistake. The delivery on the wedding day was delayed over two hours. They blamed it on «technical difficulties.» Then, it took them an hour to start setting up the rooftop (where the ceremony was to take place). They were supposed to start with the set-​up at noon as the ceremony started at 4 p.m., but because of their delay and short-​staff, they didn’t start with the set up on the rooftop until 3:00 p.m. Guests started to arrive and chairs and tables had still not been laid out, so the guests, the groom, and the bridal party started to arrange the chairs, tables and linens so as to not further delay the ceremony! Photographs were scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on the rooftop (as we were told that the set up would be done by then) but since the vendor arrived late, we had to cut our photo session short as there were men unloading and setting up the rooftop. A wedding is a stressful day to begin with, but this added to the additional stress!
I called to complain and they suggested that I wanted a «free wedding?» Excuse me??? They ruined my wedding day, what was supposed to be one of the most important and memorable day in my life, and they wanted to say that I wanted a free wedding!!! The wedding party, groom, and bride (all in our gowns and tuxes) as well as our guests were sweating as we were doing their job! If they were two hours late, they should have supplied more manpower so that the set up would have been completed by the time the ceremony started! Any idiot knows that we can’t do anything (i.e. decorate, seat guests, lay out food, etc) without the furniture! The vendor NEVER apologized and refunded a minimal amount. I would NOT USE THIS VENDOR, EVER!

I’m also the owner of the business and I know what customer service means. Unfortunately that company don’t know how and can’t deal with the customers nicely. The «owner» was screaming on me and was talking to me like I’m her old friend. I was very upset when this company didn’t deliver the full items of my order, and I was waiting for the apology AT LEAST! But this guys don’t know how to deal with the people.

Prices are great. Ladies answering phones know their stuff. Nono and Anno really know all their inventory And everything you might need. However, delivery guys are slow. Takes hours to set up. They can never give you a time for delivery. Not even on the same day. And the set up takes hours. They forgot items in the set up and had us waiting from 11 am to 7 pm. The guys were just waiting around to set up. What a drag and waste of my time!!!

They were great! Everything looked fantastic and they were prompt in delivery and pick up.

I have been going here for over 8 years. I love love the workers there they have been their since day one so they really know their inventory. Nono and Ano the head sales women there always treat me so kindly and are patient with me while I decided. Their prices are very low and they have so much to choose from. The only thing I would warn is make sure to call in before going because they are always crazy busy and do not plan on getting in and out fast. Just dedicate at least an hr there.

Anna was to the point and very helpful. If you want affordable items for your event, this is the place. I recommend them and will be using them in the future!

The draping CMC does is hands down the best. It’s impeccable… perfect actually. I don’t know if anyone can compare and their prices are reasonable. I worked with Mary and she is amazing and answered all my questions throughout the journey. They will make your wedding look like a million dollar fairytale straight out of a magazine. When I saw the draping as we walked in I nearly cried because it was so beautiful and my guests were so impressed. Thank you for making my dream wedding come true!

Their prices are great and their service was pretty good (I dealt with Nona and she was lovely). However, the day of my wedding they arrived at a much later time than they told me, my aisle was too short, my huppah was not as pictured and the ballroom was not done per instructions. Everything still turned out beautiful and only I know the tidbits behind the scenes.

I used CMC for my wedding back in June. They were great! They allowed me to come by whenever I wanted and play around with table settings until I was happy with what I had. They even offered advice and input. Everything that day was perfect. They set up on time and came back to pick up everything. Would definitely recommend and use again!

My husband and I used CMC Linen Rentals for our linens for our wedding. They are a very affordable place for linen rentals and other party rental equipment. The business is located in an industrial area in the Valley and is basically a warehouse. Don’t expect a fancy showroom because they don’t have that here.
Depending on the day, this place can be very crowded so you can expect a wait for you turn. Also, don’t expect top notch quality service here.

I have gone to CMC for all my rentals needs including my bridal shower, wedding, and henna night. Nano is absolutely amazing and super helpful. They have a huge variety to choose from, so they can customize your event to your theme and colors. They are excellent at custom draping. I had a lot done at my wedding and I am still getting compliments. Also they are very organized and professional. All items are delivered and picked up on time. They take care of everything. I would definitely recommend them to anyone planning a party or a bride-​to-​be. You will not be disappointed.

So my fiancé and I decide we can tackle an Armenian wedding without any help… ha! Were we crazy? Yes… indeed we were.
But to help us regain our sanity CMC was our savior. Seriously, I haven’t met a nicer rental vendor this far. We probably harassed these poor people and called them over 20 times. They were nicer each time. They helped us with everything tables, chairs, lights and the list can go on & on. The prices on top of that were too good to be true. Esp with us struggling young folk… thanks CMC!!!

I’ve been coming to this place for YEARS… Starting from my sister’s wedding to my brother’s, and every little event in between. Every time go, Ana is SOOOOOOOO rude! I don’t know why or HOW she can be so disgustingly grumpy ALL the time. Customer service is everything to me, and she doesn’t know the meaning of it. Maybe they never taught her in Armenia? She acts like she doesn’t know me, and I’ve been such a loyal regular. So over her and this place.

My wedding was in July this year. I called and my first questions was Do you have white WOODEN chairs? The employee said yes we do, so I placed my order for over 200 chairs. 1 week before my wedding we were going over our invoices and my sister noticed that the invoice said «Resin Chairs»… yeah that’s not a wooden chair. They are PLASTIC chairs that look like the wooden chairs. It was way too late to contact a different place for over 200 chairs, and I had already given my $ 100 deposit to CMC so I had to stick with my order. I was so disappointed at the fact that I was given incorrect information after I made it very clear what I was looking for.
My wedding was in Lancaster… Delivery fee= $ 125!!! Ridiculous!!!
Luckily I wasn’t a Bridezilla. The chairs were not bad. Easier to carry that the wooden ones and looked nice overall. But I wish I would have been told what I was getting from the beginning. I also rented their dance floor, which looked great.

Everything worked out great for our wedding, besides the tables. They were weathered and did not line up, some of the legs were loose due to missing screws so i had to put a few screws in to make them function. Otherwise they delivered early and picked up a bit later which gave us time to pack up. Umbrellas looked great and silverware was really nice and clean. If it were not for the tables i would give them 5 stars.

I called CMC to get a quote for an event, but still wasn’t sure if I wanted to use them. The weather had been really hot these past few weeks and so my mother insisted we get tables with umbrellas. The original place I was going to rent from cost ¼ of the price cmc was charging, but their tables didn’t have any holes for umbrellas. Cmc also charges a delivery fee where the other place had none. When I called for the quote the lady told me to «reserve“it to make sure they had enough tables and chairs. I even told her I didn’t know how many tables and chairs we actually need! I didn’t want to reserve it just yet but she assured me I can still make changes. I called on monday and she asked me if they can deliver the stuff on friday, which would be fine if I decided to go with them (my party was on Sunday). Wednesday morning at 9:30 am they were in my driveway! I was furious!!! I felt like I was forced to go with them. I totally felt like I was fooled. What should have cost me $ 60 ended up costing me $ 210!!!
Had the morons waited till even thursday I would have known I didn’t need umbrellas at all because it was a gloomy day!!! really upsetting that they cost me $ 150!
Reading other reviews now and I see they are usually LATE in picking up and dropping off. I wish that was the case for us =|

This company was not professional. It was hard to get them to put «IMPORTANT»
information on the order. For an expample, they did not put the color of the uplighting
on the order, they didn’t put the drop off time. They showed up late which made us
late in starting the reception. They forgot the most important thing… the color
slides for the uplighting. So the reception just had white lights! Who would order
white lights.
The prices may be lower but it’s not worth the hassels. I would rather pay more and
know that I am going to get the products and service with it.

My family and friends have been doing business with CMC for over 15 years. Not once have we been disappointed. They have an enormous selection, great prices and good service.

These people have everything.
I went through CMC last weekend to throw my sister a surprise bday party. The theme was a lounge/​club/​vegas theme. And CMC just went all out. For about $ 1,000 I ordered all this (delivery included):
−12×16′ black and white dance floor
–4 acrylic LIGHT UP coffee tables. I’m serious, the coffee tables were these acrylic cubes and they lit up to these awesome colors. Definitely perfect for our theme.
–8 (or 9 or 10 i dont remember) white ottomans to put around the tables
–A black crystal chandelier
— 3 tall cocktail tables with 3 barstools at each one
— A light up bar (definitely one of the highlights of the party)
— 4 backless white tufted leather couches. In different designs (some looked like crescent shaped, some were just pimp, others were just awesome).
CMC delivered the items on time (and in the rain). They also were really cool about a last minute change of address due to the rain. I think they’re the most affordable party rentals… and they have the coolest stuff. Take a look at their facebook, I think that’s where all the cool pics are. Their website doesn’t do em justice.
