History

Established in 2010.

I always say this business found me. I came across an article about copyediting and thought to myself, «I do this all the time!» As a lifelong writer and avid reader, I instinctively edited without even realizing it. When I discovered that I could do what I love for a living, I immediately started brainstorming a business name with some friends. Within six months, I had developed my website, ordered my business cards, and had my first client. Write Way Copyediting was born!

Business Owner

Diana Schramer is a freelance copy editor and owner of Write Way Copyediting LLC. She has edited numerous books, fiction and nonfiction (including memoir, spirituality, religion, wellness, addiction and recovery, and true crime). She also edits personal essays, blog posts, articles, newsletters, and business-​related documents. Diana is a member of and is the south-​central region coordinator for Wisconsin Writer’s Association, Inc. and a member of American Copy Editors Society and National Association of Independent Writers and Editors.
