Not sure what these other reviewers are talking about with the woman behind the counter. She was very friendly and helpful toward us and showed us what we needed to fix on one of our vehicles. Something others in the past never did. And the smog for both vehicles only took about 20 minutes each. Very friendly, helpful, and fair.

It’s a good place to go if you need to get in right away. You pay whether you pass the test or not but they get you in and out of there very quickly. I would recommend if you’re fairly certain you’ll pass smog and just need something quick.

The staff was very polite, but if you don’t pass the smog test, they don’t do the repairs there and charge to redo the smog test once repairs are completed. I found a couple other places that would do the repairs and re-​smog for free.

I have been to Tri –City several times in the past few years.
However, the service is no longer the same. I have to agree with the other reviews that the current staff is rude and apathetic. A unapologetic, white haired, woman behind the desk never made eye contact with me while asking if I had an appointment.
I never had to make an appointment in the past. I do not read that an appointment is required on their website.
I will take my car elsewhere and not return.
This business is obviously TOO BUSY, TOO CARE!

I experienced same issue as most of his negative reviews. Smog was super fast. Smoking cigarets and talking on the phone witch defiantly appeared to be not work related. Truck passed smog tested however failed me because of a air intake witch he has past me and my wife before with the same air intake. A very common aftermarket intake that is California approved. Well all and all. I paid over $ 50 for failing me on visual

Car #2 in 2 days. Very friendly staff and took my appointment with no issues in being overbooked/​wait times. I will continue to use them in the future!
The only negative is the smell of smoke when I brought my other car in yesterday (4÷21÷2016). Today, the doors were open and the smell wasn’t near as bad.
I highly recommend them… wait, nevermind because that will make them more crowded in the future. Disregard my review.

I called ahead to get an appointment and they got me in same day. The smog check was done quickly! The only reason I gave 3 stars was due to the smell of smoke. Inside the building there was hints of smoke. I don’t smoke and usually don’t mind the smell but it was overpowering. The thing that was most frustrating to me was that my car smelled like cigarettes after the test was done! Beware if you’re not a fan of the smell of smoke.

Been taking my car to get a smog check here since I moved to Menifee and this is by far the best smog station. Very professional, fast, they take walk ins and they are very nice!!! Definitely recommend this place to everyone!!!

Drove in at 5pm one evening to get my car smog checked. Drove away at around 515 – 520. Very fast and efficient service and friendly staff. I will be back for my next smog!

Saw some great reviews, so I figured my wife and I would try out this place. Very nice experience, Lee was awesome, the lady in the office said, «come inside where it’s cooler» We ended up having a great conversation and before we knew it, smog test was done, passed and we were well on our way.

I was happy to find a smog test only in my area with such great reviews. I arrived at 8 am with one person in line at the door. The door was unlocked and when we entered we were greeted with an attitude of were not quite open yet. You open at 8, your door was unlocked and I have many choices to take my business to. I told the receptionist I had a coupon and she never responded. When I mentioned it again she said she already took it off. Since the coupon was on my phone I felt that the pricing was not explained at all.
The smog was quick I passed and overall a mediocre experience.

You can go to ANY Smog Station to smog your vehicle. Will they be as nice as the people at Tri City? I don’t think so.
These folks are just really nice. You’re welcomed in. There are a couple of couches and some chairs. Lots of magazines. It’s clean. They say thank you.
They are quick and efficient.
I highly recommend the service. After all, any smog station does smog checks.
The people make the difference!

Came here first thing when they opened in the morning for my smog test. There was only one person in front of me so there wasn’t much of a wait at all.
Everyone was friendly, and the store was clean. Would use them again for a smog test in the future.

We got there before they oped at 8 but they oped there doors for us and checked us in early. They took the car in at 8 and we were done by 8:10! Friendly, easy, quick!

Went on on a Saturday morning around 9am and was in and out within 10 minutes. The woman in front of me was actually done 15 minutes before her appointment! I’m not sure what the wait time would be during other times of the day, but going in the morning worked out well. The staff was very friendly.
Don’t forget to bring a coupon for $ 10 off!

Smog was fast, however he failed me because my air intake. Somehow I passed the visual test beforehand? Why take my $ 50 and then tell me I failed? Crooks will fail you to make you retest. Took it down the street and passed.
Will never come back here, sketchy place, pay a little more without the fear of failing over a stupid cap or loose connection.

Made the annoying task of having to get a smog check easy. I didn’t have my DMV paperwork, and after the guy joked around with me a bit he said it wasn’t necessary and he could still do it. Huge weight lifted off my shoulders. I took a seat in the nice, comfy, clean, filled-​to-​the-​brim with magazines waiting area. I’m sure those magazines rarely get read because these guys are fast. While I was paying the guy also reminded me that if I have AAA I can just go there to complete my late registration, and he even knew their hours. Another weight gone off shoulders.
So fast, so friendly! Oh yeah, and 10 $ discount when you check in to Unilocal
