History

Established in 1994.

Tabb founded Universal Coatings, Inc. of Wilmington, NC in 1994 at the age of 21. In 1998 he relocated the company to Fayetteville, NC for a better opportunity. In 2007, Tabb sold Universal Coatings, Inc. and he became a Licensed General Contractor building new construction homes. After the housing market crashed he relocated to Sumter in 2010 and started Advanced Painting. His time in the industry totals to 20 years of exceptional customer service and quality craftsmanship. Tabb is dedicated to his profession and continues to learn and research the craft for new, innovated ways to improve upon his company.

Tabb was born in Georgetown, SC in 1973 and lived all over the state of SC as a result of his mothers job. At the age of 18 he moved to NC and started into the painting industry. Once turning 21 he began his own painting company and has been a business owner for going on 20 years now.
