Dicks Heating & AC

Woke up to a cold house. A bit of minor troubleshooting done by the Mr. showed it was most likely a bad ignitor and called Dick’s. They said they’d be here between 1 and 5 and I think it was about 1:30 when Jason P. showed up and got to work right away.
Polite, respectful of our home and the daysleeper, and was able to fix the problem to our satisfaction.
We appreciated the work ethic shown by Jason P., got the job done to the customer’s satisfaction. This type of courtesy goes a long way to building trust and growing your business.

As I write this review now, Mike and Lee are driving home at 830pm after finishing our whole house install. It was a long day for these guys in sub freezing temperatures since 1030am. Fighting morning traffic from Sumner all the way up to Woodinville, only to spend the next 10 hours straight in the cold installing a new water heater/​furnace/​and heat pump. These guys need to be given a GOLD star. This was really a 2-​day job, and I was surprised that Dicks Heating was asking their installers to complete it in a day. They did, but I don’t think it should be a company policy to ask their installers to to work as such on a regular basis.
This is the second time we have used Dicks for a new install. The first was Spring 2006, in our previous home in Bellevue. I remember a team of 6 guys showing up throughout the day to assist with each aspect of the installation of a new furnace and heat pump. Lee and Mike did the same work as those 6 guys in a day, and installed a hot water tank too!
Oh, one last thing. On their way out, Mike noticed something was not quite right with one of the PVC fittings. He decided to redo it, even though it was something minor. Awesome installers!

Have always had a pretty good experience with Dick’s until recently. Wanted to do my yearly maintenance and when my furnace wasn’t working properly when they came, the did a diagnosis instead and recommended a new pressure switch. I purchased one on-​line and installed myself but the unit was still having issues. Called a Furnace Tech I’ve used before to come check things out as he’s close and could come out that day. Turned out I didn’t need a new pressure switch at all but needed my inducer cleaned. Just talked to Dick’s to see if I they could waive my last cleaning on my maintenance plan (because the other guy cleaned it) and it’s a no — go. She started scolding me on why a maintenance plan is there and how I’ve missed my «annual cleaning» by a few months. What happened to customer service? I wasn’t asking to refund my «diagnosis fee» I paid to be told to replace a part that really didn’t need replacing but just get the last cleaning on my plan waived. She was pretty blunt, abrupt and really kinda rude. Disappointed because I’ve referred several people to them in the past. Guess I need to find a new company.

Dicks is by far the best place in the state to get any kind of heating & a/​c work done/​serviced! The two owners are very nice & helpful, great prices! From the start of the very first phone call to the installation of my new a/​c everyone was nothing but friendly, more then on time, quick in & out! Polite service crew & can’t forget the girls who answer the phones at the office, very nice! I called around for awhile for quotes & they had everyone beat by over 1500 dollars! I will def call them if something goes wrong & would strongly advise you to do so as well! Oh & of course I can’t forget to mention that they are open for service calls 24 hours a day, 7 days week!

I had to call a few places, but this company was AWESOME! They showed up withing an hour of me calling. The service repair man was VERY friendly, knowledgeable, kind and helpful. With a new hot water heater, install, warranty and maintenance plan, it was still $ 1,000 cheaper than the other bids I got. They have coupons online to use for service calls and installations. They are ²⁴⁄₇ and don’t charge extra for nights and weekends too! You can even schedule a service call online. I definitely would recommend them — don’t bother calling anyone else — seriously! I’m a new first time homeowner and will be keeping them in my contact list for future needs.
