Our lessons are a tailor fit for each and every student where music theory and voice training is incorporated into all of our lessons to strengthen intonation and teach our pupils that music comes from within. Stringing with Angela offers private violin, viola, guitar, and piano lessons for children and adults.

We will give your child the individual attention, helpful feedback, and motivation that will push them to attain their musical goals. Our teachers are professional musicians with various degrees in music education and many years of teaching experience. Two recitals are held every year right here in Summit to showcase our young musicians talent and hard work.

History

Established in 2010.

Stringing With Angela was established in May of 2010. We offer violin, viola, guitar, piano, and voice lessons. We instruct children as young as 3 and hold 2 recitals a year. Our music lessons are tailor fit to each students needs and stregenths. The instructors are enthusiastic, have a bachelors degree or currently enrolled in college, and most importantly motivating.

Business Owner

Angela LaVan attended Las Vegas Academy of Fine arts in Nevada and majored in music performance. She took private violin lessons with the concert master of the Las Vegas Philharmonic and solo violinists for Celine Dion Mrs. DeAnn Leurtenau. For her undergraduate studies at University of Las Vegas in Nevada she was a student of the Louisanna Philharmonic 2^nd principle violinist Bryon Tauchi.

She moved to New Jersey 6 years ago to study under the world renouned violinist Shirley Givens of Juilliard. Stringing With Angela has been in business in downtown Summit NJ for 5 years now. She has violin and viola students that are in the New Jersey Youth Orchestra and the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra
